Hi there, I'm Savanna! I was born and raised in small town Du Quoin, Illinois but I now reside 20 minutes away in Carterville. I'm a proud 2014 graduate from Southern Illinois University with a degree in Integrated Marketing & Advertising. Most days you can find me snuggled up at home with my yoga pants on, coffee in hand, working away on my laptop or outside somewhere with my lovely clients, righ

Photography is my passion, my calling in life and a gift from God. I have loved this craft since I was a little girl with a tiny little Kodak camera in hand, posing my baby sister in the backyard. I took my first photography class in 2011 at my local junior college...little did I know, that semester would change my life forever. Now, I have the best job in the world, photographing beautiful people who are madly in love and like to have fun. When I'm not busy working you can catch me watching HGTV's Fixer Upper or raiding the shelves of TJ MAXX or Target. I'm known for being a huge animal lover...like all animals. I mean... I won't even step on a bug because it makes
me feel bad. I am a fur mama to a goldendoodle and a chocolate lab, Oliver and Raider and a kitty named Mable. I also have a boyfriend and his name is Brandon... He pinched my butt at a Ugly Sweater Christmas party and the rest was history. He has become my partner in crime and the love of my life. I have never met someone as funny or kind hearted.. he is my rock and the reason why I
am such a hopeless romantic. I also enjoy binge watching The Office and New Girl while planning my future life on Pinterest. Oh... and I LOOVVVEEE to travel! If you're dying to hear more, here are five things you might not know about me.

1. I'm left handed.... which probably explains why I'm backwards and clumsy at times.

2. I am a former gymnast and cheerleader. (and I can still do a backhandspring!)

3. My favorite music artists are John Mayer, Ed Sheeran, The Civil Wars, Taylor Swift and Kacey Musgraves

4. A whole family size order of cheese sticks from Pizza Hut is my favorite food :)

5. I'm probably the biggest night owl and waking up in the morning is the hardest thing I've ever had to do. Speaking of sleep.. I also love naps. Still here? Let's connect! [email protected]

Sav is *OFFICIALLY* on mom duty to THREE sweet kiddos and will be away from her computer for the next several weeks. You're stuck with me - you're so welcome. :)

We've been over in Historic Bell Hill land for a while now, so I've got lotssss of fun galleries to share with you! Stay tuned for that. It's been a busy year!

With that being said... There are still available wedding dates for 2026! If you know someone looking for an incredible photographer for their Big Day, send them my direction! Here's what Sav's got open:
