If you’ve ever had an ultrasound and thought,
“Wait… are those bubbles in there?!”

You’re not alone. I hear it all the time.

Despite what you may have seen on TikTok: there is no air inside the womb.
None.
Zero.

So those little round “bubble-looking” spots you sometimes see on ultrasound? That’s the umbilical cord.

The cord is soft, squishy, and often floats in loops around baby. When the ultrasound beam slices through it at different angles, it can look like perfect little circles, which totally resemble bubbles on screen.

Pregnancy is wild. Ultrasound physics is wilder. And your body? Absolutely brilliant.

Who knows what the "bubbles" are in there??

We are planning on working tomorrow! Our area isn’t expected to get inclement weather, there is a chance of rain in the evening hours but it shouldn’t affect us.
