Some stories begin with words. The most beautiful ones begin with a heartbeat.

These tiny fingers, sleepy smiles, and quiet moments are more than photographs, they're the first pages of a family's greatest love story. Time moves quickly, but these memories don't have to fade. It's an honor to preserve the fleeting beauty of these first days, so they're remembered just as they were: pure, gentle, and filled with endless love. 🤍

Sweet little RJ had plans of his own and let us know pretty quickly that he wasn't interested in a photo session. We still captured the love, connection, and beautiful beginning of his story in a few short minutes, and sometimes that's all it takes.

Summer apparently decided to hit fast-forward around here! 📸☀️

I’ve been a little distracted by three young kids who require snacks approximately every 2.5 seconds and trying to keep up with my full-time job… so naturally, updating my photography page has landed somewhere near the bottom of the to-do list. 😂

But I’m finally catching up and had to start with some of my favorites from my brother and sister-in-law’s maternity session. 🤍

And now I’m even happier to announce that Baby Hertz has officially arrived! 🥹💙 Everyone is soaking up all those newborn snuggles.

Thanks for sticking around, even if you only get an update from me every fortnight. More photos to come...eventually, probably, maybe, if I remember to post them. 😅

I spent the weekend at the Grant County Fair taking photos for the newspaper, and I left with so much respect for all the kids who showed their animals. Watching them care for and show their animals in the pouring rain was a reminder of just how much dedication, patience, and heart goes into it. They kept showing up, even when they were soaked and exhausted, giving their animals the same care and attention they would have on a sunny day. It was an honor to capture those moments, but more than anything, I left feeling grateful to have witnessed the kind of hard work, commitment, and love that these kids pour into something they care so deeply about.
