I have felt such a huge shift in my photography the past year. I'm not here for perfectly curated outfits with a ton of posing. I'm here for the real moments. I'm here for the families who want to capture their families just the way they are. Silly faces, big wide smiles from belly laughing. I'm here for being the tickle monster to get those giggles.

I'm here for authenticity, true love, the bond of a family, and capturing those moments in their truest form.

This shoot has a big place in my heart. Lots of fun, lots of laughs and chaos. It made me feel confident in my shift.

It made me feel proud of being able to gift a family a memorable experience and photos that will stand the test of time 🤎

Stop by the valley merc tomorrow before the light parade! We have all kinds of fun stuff going on. I'll be setup there doing santa photos as well with Emerald Honey Co. . Our set up this year is the cutest vintage mint blue Ford truck with Christmas decor and of course Santa! I'll also have homemade spurdough chocolate chip cookies from The Half Baked Homestead for all the Littles who get their photo with santa!

Cats out of the bag! Emerald Honey is moving studios! At this time last year, I opened my studio in Carson, and while it was a beautiful space, I quickly realized the location wasn't feasible with running another business and having a busy family. I wasn't able to give it the time and energy it deserved. A few months ago, asked me if I would want to move my studio to the same building as her new store . My brain told me no. Another move, all that work, designing a new studio....but my heart told me HELL YES. How could I turn down the opportunity to have a studio closer to home and in the community we are active members of. I'd be a fool to turn down this opportunity. Also, how could I say no to being in the same buildings as one of my favorite people?! And running our businesses side by side. I couldn't say no, so I said yes. Emerald Honey Photography will be located at 1420 U.S. Hwy 395 N C, Gardnerville, NV 89410 in the private entrance towards the back. I'm hoping to have the space up and running by September's wine walk, but I will be officially open October 1st. Come see me at the valley merc for this months winewalk to save big on any photo sessions you want to book 🤍
