Local folks, who remembers Leslie and her amazing story of creating Cafe Girasole, in Gardnerville?

Online friends of mine (especially Multiply friends) may remember my photos of her mouth-watering creations.

Anyone who's ever enjoyed the Tomato Basil Bisque that we make (her recipe), by extension, also knows her.

Well, arterial disease took her toe and, after it wouldn't heal, her leg from the knee down. While in rehab for that she learned she has basal cell carcinoma, which will require an invasive surgery that will further alter her appearance. You can read about her story at the link. If you have a few spare $ and can help, that would be great. If not, prayers and shares are welcomed and encouraged.
