Mom was glowing during this session, and I couldn’t help but feel the joy of the season all around us. The quiet anticipation, the warmth—it’s the kind of love that speaks for itself.

There’s something so magical about this season of life—anticipation, love, and the quiet moments before everything changes.

I always feel so honored to be invited into these tender chapters, and this session just warmed my heart.

Watching these two, it wasn’t the big, posed moments that stood out the most to me. It was the way he gently held her hand, how she lit up when he made her laugh, and the way they looked at each other like they already knew their little one was the luckiest. Moments like these remind me why I love what I do.

Thank you for trusting me to tell your story.

Somewhere in between the snow-covered paths and their soft laughter, this maternity session turned into magic.

Here's to the first 'just because' photoshoot of the year ✌️

To practice and be creative without any expectations

Fun fact. This was taken in front of my bedroom window because I didn't want to pull out my big fancy light. I'm really out here providing entertainment for the dog walkers of the community lol

Second fun fact. I wasn't happy with any of the photos I took today, but decided to use it as a way to just practice my editing skills. Ended up actually liking it so I'm sure there's a lesson in there for me 🤷🏾‍♀️

Social media break over. I'm not gonna lie, it was nice taking photos with zero expectation that I'd need to share them later. Just the joy of creating art and sharing these private moments with others.

Which means, I have so much content back logged 😅😂

This year I've also decided I want to delve into creative photography more. So look out for model calls in the future as I set up some stylized shoots!

Double exposure therapy 😌

I sat on this photoshoot for dang over a year. (Around last August I believe)

It was a 2 part photoshoot hosted by and I was grateful and nervous all at once to be able to stand along side other aspiring and driven photographers and practice our craft.

But when I tell you that back than night time photography absolutely INTIMATED me is an understatement.

I reviewed these photos a million and one times and attempted to edit them a million and two.

To anyone else they were great. But perfectionism is a curse and I knew I could do better.

Over a year later and I can confidently say this is one of my favorite edits from night time sessions.

And I can't wait to do more ♡
