POV: You fly to Arizona to be photographed by the studio of the photographer who taught you at Texas School. ✈️📸

In April, I had the opportunity to learn from Allison Tyler Jones at Texas School. This past week, I found myself at the beautiful ATJ studio in Gilbert, Arizona, stepping in front of the camera instead of standing behind it.

The entire experience reflected everything Allison teaches—making people feel comfortable, confident, and truly seen, and honestly, treated like a VIP from the moment I walked through the door.

As photographers, we’re usually the ones behind the lens. Being on the client side was such a meaningful reminder that how we make people feel matters just as much as the photographs themselves. ❤️.
