Todays “Pump Sesh” Aftermath…

Funny story about those (2) 15lbs plates on the ground next to my barbell. I initially put (2) 25lbs plates on the bar (green plates) and attempted to do (1) barbell curl. I got it halfway up and said, “Nope! Not today Satan!” I immediately went and grabbed the (2) 15lbs plates you see on the ground.

As I walked back with the 15lbs plates to my barbell I thought, “You can curl 95lbs on that barbell, you just did it two weeks ago. You’re just being a p****. Pick that s**t up.” I dropped the (2) 15lbs plates on the ground where you see them pictured and killed (4) Sets of 15 on that barbell!

Moral of the story:
Mind Over Matter translates to Quit Being a P****

This family session has a cool story…

and her family were able to get together for one day and with that many people you can only imagine how difficult it was to manage everyone’s schedules. They did it though! Taking a day off from work to driving in from out of town to getting a young boy to cooperate lol.

The date was set. The time was set. The location was to be determined. We had everything set for a couple months. Well, God has an amazing way of showing us how his plans work.

You guessed it!! He decided that the ONE day of the week for 80% chance of rain in the area would be the one very day we were to take photos. We came up with a Plan B but we really wanted Plan A to work out. We continued as planned and for a solid 10 minutes I drop through rain as I went to the shoot location. A mile from the location the rain stopped and the clouds created an amazing “soft box” atmosphere for me and it was absolutely perfect! This family session was meant to happen at exactly the time we planned and I couldn’t be more grateful and excited on the outcome of the photos.
