Here's the rest of the non F4/Formula Regional photos I took over the weekend. The classes were super varied and interesting, from 4 cylinder open-wheels, to Vintage Trans-Am cars, Modern Trans-Am cars, Prototype 2000's (huge shoutout to the crewman of the #60 who had the tiny screwdriver to fit a screw that had loosened in my lens!), and many more "onesy-twosy" type classes that ran together. All in all, great weekend at the racetrack, and again a MASSIVE thank you to IGY6 Motorsports for having me as their guest at the track.

After visiting Mid Ohio for the IMSA 4 Hour Endurance event a couple weeks back, I was delighted when my boss told me he knew somebody with IGY6 Motorsports. For as much as I love racing, I have never seen open wheels compete on a road course, and I wasn't going to let the opportunity of being a "team guest" pass me by.

A massive thank you is owed to Jonathan and the rest of IGY6 Motorsports for their hospitality, welcoming attitude, and walking me through some of the geometry of the cars and how they differ from the oval track machines I've grown accustomed to seeing. If you get the chance, check these guys out at their 7-10 race appearances throughout the season!

I spent this past Saturday with Joe Adorjan Racing at Wayne County Speedway , and had an absolute blast hanging out and watching some great racing.
Joe qualified 20th with a 17.43, drove the wheels off his machine from 7th to 2nd in the Heat race (with an awesome pass on the inside coming off of turn four on the last lap), and fell from starting 5th in the Feature to bringing it home in 18th (after a bit of a tangle between turns one and two partway into the feature).

Photos from last night at the "Night of Destruction" Midvale Speedway.

If you weren't there, you missed out on an amazing show, hands down the best I've seen at this track. Enduro racing, flagpole race, reverse race, figure 8, long jump, burnout competition, skid plate racing, chain racing, stackers (Only 1 showed, but still), tug-o-war, demolition derbies, AND to top it all off, fireworks and pyrotechnics sprinkled throughout the night.

I couldn't be happier to be represented by Joe Adorjan Racing this upcoming season!
I will be at multiple dirt and asphalt ovals in a (roughly) 150 mile radius throughout the season, offering as much coverage as possible.

I spent the day at Pittsburgh Motor Speedway and nobody in attendance could have asked for better weather or racing to kick off the season. 3 divisions faced off, the FAST on Dirt 410 sprints, ULMS Racing Series Late Models, and the SCDRA Sport Compacts.

Michael Norris had his work cut out for him with a 4 way battle for the lead on lap 2 of 30 lap Feature. Congrats on the win!

Tim Shaffer the 20 lap feature on the outside of the first rank, eventually tracking down backfield markers before securing his victory.

I didn't get any usable shots of the Sport Compacts due to lack of memory card space, but there's a couple memory cards in the mail to take full advantage of the racing season to come!
