A huge congrats to Fitz on his upcoming graduation this week! He'll be headed to JMU in the fall with plans to pursue a business degree. We lucked out with clear sunny skies and fortunately, the heat of the day was cooled off a bit by the time we took these portraits at Fort Monroe. Enjoy some sneak peeks from his senior session. Yesterday was HOT, but fortunately we waited until close to 7pm to start our session and the weather could not have been any more beautiful in Virginia Beach. The Grose family and I got connected by a sweet family friend that my mom has known since before I was born. (Hi Carol!!! 🥰) Both Kelly and Aaron's parents were in town so we were able to get photos of everyone together before they travelled back home. Although we only spent a short time together, I felt right at home with their warm welcome and fun personalities! Hitching a ride on their golf cart to access the beach was the icing on the cake. I had a blast capturing their family photos. Here's some of my faves! 💕✨

Summit Christian Academy put on a spectacular production of the musical 'Fiddler on the Roof'. I got to see the show during the dress rehearsal to capture these photos and I was blown away by how good it was! Between the singing, acting, choreography, lighting, set, and costumes, this was five stars!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ There was so much visual goodness to photograph!

Congrats to Nate Miller - Class of 2026, on his upcoming graduation! He is Charleston bound this fall and planning a major in business. We even captured a few photos for Nate's love of cross country. He actually has a track meet this afternoon so wish him luck!

Baby Eloise was born earlier this month and her adoring siblings couldn't get enough of her. They wanted to hold her, look at her, and kiss her - it was so precious! We photographed these right in their backyard and it was absolutely perfect! It's hard enough trying to wrangle a full family with a newborn out the door dressed and ready to go, so this couldn't have worked out any better. Here are some pics from their session. 🤩

A HUGE congratulations to this beautiful couple - Elana and Zack! They had their wedding ceremony in front of family and friends at the stunning SummerWind Vineyard in Smithfield, VA. They may possibly be heading out of the country to Japan this summer so it was important for them to spend time with their loved ones and celebrate the occasion together before they leave.

It was truly a joy to capture the love these two have together. They have the best easy going and uplifting attitude that just makes you want to be around them. Such a lovely couple!

It is because of Barnyard on wheels that the Easter spring bunnies/chicks minis were possible for the second year in a row. Tami Brooke is an amazing businesswoman and friend. She's also great at cute setups for photos and has an eye for style! Her kids are always so well put together! I was so grateful to be able to work alongside her for another round of minis. 🙌.
