This was the thunderstorm that I've been waiting for! The lightning was AMAZING! I could've sat there all night taking pictures. The lightning was so bright it washed out my light tools.

Bucket list setup #2 in the bag! Not the most original light paintings but I was unprepared 😂I was setup in my yard practicing flowers when I saw a flash of light to the south and got so excited that I grabbed all my gear, threw it into the back of my car and sped out to find a spot in the country at 2am 😂

Tried to go out to my sweet spot last night only to find the road was flooded from all the recent rain we got up here😭 One thing I don't recommend is trying to go on adventures late at night on back country gravel roads this time of year, the tractors and farming equipment tear the gravel up and one minute your cruising along and the next you get stuck in muck😂 I tried something last night in my backyard and it looks awesome so be on the lookout for some new images coming soon!

Quick rundown of the settings I used for these images. You may have to adjust depending on what you're shooting and what tools you are using. I always take a test shot first and tweak my settings if I need too. I should also add I am an awkward human being which is why all my hobbies take place at night while normal humans are asleep 😂 also excuse my dirty camera😂she needs a good cleaning since it's been on a few adventures lately 🤷‍♀️
