This is the hardest time of year for me. Everything feels cold, brown and dead. My challenge during this time is to look for beauty when it isn’t obvious. Go further up the mountains, go for a walk when the sun pokes through the clouds, grab a loved one for a coffee date, or snuggle up to your favorite four-legged friend. We can get through this together!

I blinked and he became a teenager. It feels like just yesterday he made me a mom for the first time, as that day is forever etched in my heart as one of the happiest moments of my life. Watching him grow from a tiny newborn into the amazing young man he is today has been nothing less than a joy and a blessing.
