I'm Autumn, a Fort Wayne wedding photographer for romantic and joyful couples who are genuinely in love with their best friend! I'm married to my best friend Ryan and dog mom to Aspen, our adopted husky who captured our hearts when we least expected it. But most importantly, I love providing my clients with images that reflect their relationship in an authentic way through a stress-free experience

. As your wedding photographer, my goal is to create beautiful images that not only capture the real moments but also reflect your love story and who you are as a couple. I'm here to capture the day as it unfolds, from the happiest of tears when you see each other for the first time to the beautiful laughter after your first kiss. I love working with couples who are absolutely in love with their best friend, and worry less about the details and more about creating a day to celebrate their love and marriage. At the end of your wedding, all you have are your photographs, so I am here to preserve your day in a way for both you and future generations may enjoy - natural, joyful, and genuine images. As hard as it is to believe, the end of the year is nearly here, and I will be closing the doors on my photography business on Tuesday, December 31 at 11:59pm. Consider it my New Year's Eve celebration! 🥳

All clients have received two emails regarding this transition to the email that was attached to their delivered gallery. If you need any assistance, please email [email protected] as soon as possible.

For clients whose galleries were created more than a year ago, the system automatically moves those images to cold storage and it takes about 12 hours for those downloads to be ready. I suggest starting your downloads in the next couple days to ensure you have no issues before the galleries officially shut down on December 31.

While this decision is still bittersweet, I will admit - I won't miss dealing with all the sales tax, quarterly estimates, and expense filings that come with this time of year. 🤣 I've been wrapping that up this week, too.

This time next year, we'll have just celebrated the holidays as a family of 4, and I can't wait to see how all of your families grow and change in the years to come. Thank you for all the memories and the joy of capturing your special moments. ❤️

After 10 years - one whole decade - of photographing couples’ love stories, beautiful wedding days, and growing families, I have made the decision to close Autumn Howell Photography.

It has been so bittersweet to come to this decision and wrap up my last weddings I’ll photograph in my business. And while it may come as a surprise to many, it is a decision that I did not make lightly or come to quickly.

So while this seems like a sudden decision, I actually have known since August 2023 that this would be my last year photographing weddings. I just decided to hold off sharing publicly until now, because I didn’t want any of my clients to worry that they were getting anything less than my best… and I’m absolutely proud of the weddings I photographed in 2024 and all the wonderful couples I had the honor to serve to cap off a wonderful career!

So, thank you, thank you, thank you! This is an absolutely bittersweet decision to make. As I sat at the dining room table in our apartment in 2014, designing my first wedding pricing guide, I just couldn’t have imagined what my little photography business would blossom into. Thanks to my couples and families I worked with, I lived out my most beautiful dream for 10 years.

Thank you to those of you who ever stepped in front of my camera or those who referred your friends and family to me. It is not lost on me that you all trusted me with your precious memories, and I’m truly honored and oh so grateful for your support and for helping me live this dream. I’ll never forget your beautiful memories I shared with and captured for you.

So excited to share previews from Sydney and Grant's wedding on the blog today! 🎉⁠

Four years after their first date of burgers, fries, and beers, Sydney and Grant became husband and wife with the most perfect wedding at BASH in Carmel, Indiana!

It was obvious that Sydney and Grant bring each other so much joy, as it was simply radiating from them throughout the entire day. It was an incredible honor to be photograph their day, and I'm so excited to share these previews!

Sydney + Grant are MARRIED! 🎉

What a way to end my 2024 season! Sydney and Grant had an amazingly perfect fall day cooked up for them, with both their ceremony and reception at .828, surrounded by their closest family and friends for an intimate wedding day.

Nothing but pure love and joy shined through Sydney and Grant and their entire day, which in turn meant the day was one of the smoothest wedding days I’ve had all year. They were just so thrilled to finally be marrying their best friend and love of their life, and I’m overjoyed to have captured this special day for them.

Not to mention, the details of the day… Sydney and Grant did a fantastic job, with the help of their vendors, to create the most elegant and luxurious wedding. The jewel tones were perfect for their fall wedding!

Even sunset gave us a bit of a show to cap off a perfect day, with a stunning red bush outside of the venue giving us that hint of fall color for their first portraits as husband and wife.

I could just gush about their day, but for now - I’m excited to share previews from their wedding day, and I can’t wait to share more very soon!

It's Sydney + Grant's wedding day! 🎉

When Grant picked Sydney up for their first date in Fall 2020, she knew there was something refreshingly different about him. After a round of burgers, fries, and beers, Sydney did not want the night to end.

And now?

Today, they will become husband and wife at one of my favorite venues (.828), with their closest friends and family there to celebrate. I've enjoyed getting to know them through the wedding planning process, and today is just going to be such a beautiful day to celebrate their love! I cannot wait!

Emily + Conner are MARRIED! 🎉

From start to finish, these two had the most perfect fall wedding day we could ask for! The best way to describe their day is pure joy - radiating from Emily + Conner and all of their family and friends celebrating their day.

Emily + Conner were married at Northeast Church in Fort Wayne, followed by a gorgeous reception at Parkview Field in downtown Fort Wayne. Opting to see each other for the first time at the altar meant we had gorgeous golden hour light for their couples portraits before heading off to their reception.

Emily + Conner are truly one of a kind, and hearing all the encouraging and wonderful words shared about them and with them yesterday... it warmed my heart to be a part of such a special day for them, and their kindness and gentle spirits were a joy to work with.

I can't wait to share more from their wedding day, but enjoy these previews of the new Mr. + Mrs. Mason!

These two first met with the help of a mutual friend over three years ago, and they have been inseparable since!

Today, they will become husband and wife in Fort Wayne, with their closest friends and family in attendance. I've loved getting to know these two through the wedding planning process, and knowing them, it's going to be such a fun day!

Happy anniversary, Riley & Kiernan! 🎉

Riley and Kiernan had the perfect fall wedding day last year, starting their married life surrounded by their family and closest friends. Their wedding was particularly special for me because I had Kiernan in class when I was teaching high school English, and I have known Riley's family for quite some time.

It's hard to believe it's already been a year since their wedding and the gorgeous sunset that ended our night! But here is to another year of love and adventure for you two!

So excited to share previews from Daryann and Spencer’s wedding on the blog today! 🎉⁠

Even though the day was definitely a hot one, you couldn't tell from the pure joy radiating from Daryann and Spencer all day long.

They were married on Spencer's family's property, with a gorgeous tent reception with string lights that shined over the dance floor. Their friends and family spent the evening dancing and enjoying delicious food and drinks, all to celebrate Daryann and Spencer.
