Had a blast with T + L at the Indiana Statehouse. I loved all of the light fixtures, gold accents, arches, and stained glass. The elevators made it so easy to explore all of the different floors but I was definitely still out of breath by the end haha! This place was absolutely gorgeous and the chemistry between these two was insane. So excited for their wedding this October! In case you didn’t know.. all of my wedding packages come with a complimentary couples session & this was theirs!!

By the way, no ai was used for this caption. I’m getting pretty tired of the lack of authenticity I’ve been seeing online. I’m no longer going to be using ai for my instagram captions because I feel like it takes my voice out of my art. As I’ve said before, this account is like a diary to me. I want this page to be an accurate representation of me, my art, and love through my eyes. Anyway.. going on a tangent now but I felt the need to share.

There’s something so romantic about dark & moody photos. It forces you to slow down and really notice the art in the everyday.

Tucked away in a nursery filled with deep, earthy greens, muted browns, and fireflies on the walls, we spent the afternoon documenting the arrival of this little one. I take a lot of pride in the trust my clients place in me; the internet can be a dangerous place, and I know why so many parents want photos that celebrate their children without the risk of exposure online. As both a photographer and a mom, my goal is to respect your boundaries while still creating images that feel timeless and deeply personal.

A story is just as powerful when it focuses on the weight of a parent’s touch, the soft silhouette of a newborn, and the quiet atmosphere of your home.
