Availability update:

I am currently booked through September.

If you are a current client, have a project already in motion, or have already reached out about a date/session/project, you’re good. This does not affect you.

This includes family sessions, senior sessions, professional portraits/headshots, small-business and brand photography, agricultural storytelling, video projects, and wedding films.

If you’ve been thinking about getting something on the calendar before the end of the year, now is the time to reach out.

Thank you, truly, for keeping my calendar full. I’m grateful to get to do this work for so many wonderful people and stories.

A MOTHER’S STORY || PAINT EDITION

Watching Jessica with her three kiddos during this “Seasonal Story: Paint” session made my heart so full.

Maybe it was because it was also her son’s first birthday. Maybe it was the laughter, the paint-covered hands, or the way everyone eventually stopped worrying about the mess and just leaned into the moment together.

Last year at this time, I was deep in the corporate grind. Wake up. Work all day. Come home and get maybe two hours with Sawyer before doing it all over again the next morning. And while there were a lot of reasons behind my decision to leave what had been normal for me for 6.5 years, the biggest reason was simple: Sawyer. I wanted to build a life where I could be present for him while still creating work I love.

So photographing other moms this spring hit me in a different way than it used to.

Watching moms step into these sessions — not worrying about perfection, not worrying about the mess, just fully showing up with their kids — reminded me exactly why I wanted to create experiences like this in the first place. They created space for the pause.

Not perfect photos. Not clean clothes. Not everyone looking at the camera at the same time.

Just moms being with their kids. Laughing. Playing. Letting go a little. Being here in this version of motherhood.

The paint washes off, kids grow, and the house will get quiet again someday. But this chapter deserves to be remembered while you’re still in it. Happy Mother’s Day to the moms in every stage of it. 🤍

CHANCE || 2026 SENIOR

It feels only appropriate that on his last day of school (I think 😅), I finally share Chance’s gallery that was delivered back in December.

When Chance’s mama, Shannon, reached out and said, “Hey! We are coming back to Central IL this fall and want some agriculture-related photos for Chance. Are you available?” — I was all in. You don’t have to ask me twice.

This ended up being one of my favorite sessions from 2025, and we all had so much fun that evening.

I love when seniors want to bring pieces of their world into their session — especially the big stuff. Tractors, trucks, American flags (like Chance), planes like Jude, golf courses like Drew, gymnasiums like Kane… all of it helps tell the story of who they are and what matters to them heading into this next chapter.

Senior sessions don’t have to feel cut and dry. The best ones feel personal.

Honestly, that’s a big part of why I created Senior Impact Sessions. Some stories need more space than a standard session allows, and I love building something around the senior instead of forcing them into a one-size-fits-all experience.

Chance — this one was a blast.

If you’re planning 2026 senior photos and have an idea you want to bring to life, I’m here for it. Reach out and let’s chat!

OUT OF OFFICE(ish) 😅

Currently entering a very official “catch-up-cation” through May 17.

I'm not actually traveling anywhere (though I wish I was, as I just bought a National Geographic travel book for all the National Parks in the US...and now I've been daydreaming). Anyways, I'm intentionally stepping back a bit to focus on current projects, galleries, edits, and backend work, and to catch up after a very full April.

If you don’t hear back from me quite as quickly as usual, that’s why.

If you’re a currently booked client/project happening between now and May 17, I’ll absolutely still be in touch and responding as needed.

Thanks for your patience while I put my head down for a bit to give the work my full attention. 🤍

Come edit a newborn photo with me.

This little moment was captured during an in-home newborn session — the kind of session where everything feels a bit slower, softer, and real. No rushing. No pressure. Just your family, as you are.

A timelapse of how I bring an image like this to life — keeping tones true, skin natural, and the feeling exactly how it looked in the moment.

These sessions are part of my Story Collections: First Chapter, but they can absolutely stand on their own, too. Because those early days? They deserve to be documented, no matter what.

I didn’t plan this photo.

I just happened to turn around after their session and saw her walking up the hill — one in her arms, and bending over to pick up the other beside her.

And it felt like everything all at once.

The weight of it.
The love.
The constant carrying — physically, emotionally, all of it.

And still choosing to show up.

That’s what this season of life is.

Seasonal Story: Paint was never about perfect photos.
It was about making space for this — even just for a moment.

Booking closes tomorrow.
