Hi hi! Just wanted to put a little psa out there - this weekend is extremely busy for me so all replies will be delayed until Monday! My daughter is performing in her first ever ice show tomorrow and Saturday so on top of my day job, editing, ice show, and shoots Sunday I’m going to be slammed! From behind my camera, I see more than just the dress, the flowers, the suits and ties, and perfect light.
I see the way they look at each other when they forget I'm there. The way their hands find each other without thinking. The quiet, unspoken moments. The tiny smiles.
The happy tears shed from family members.
The most important day of their lives.
Anyone can pose for a photo.
Anyone can smile for a moment.
Anyone can take the photo.
But not everyone has this, the kind of connection that doesn't need direction, the kind you can't fake, no matter how good the photographer is.
