Rendleman Orchards is full of neat history!

Last night at The Cottage. The Orionid Meteor Shower.

That’s the old doctor’s house now a contributing property to Rendleman Orchards Historic District. Located in the center of a cluster of all buildings once Arthur Rendleman’s (Uncle Autie’s) farm. It is a small Front Gabled old one room building with molded metal siding and a metal roof. The foundation is stacked creek rock. This building constructed in circa 1900 was moved to Uncle Autie’s farm between 1930-1940 from the town of Alto Pass, where traveling doctors practiced in our small rural community. Today it is used for storage. The original wood floor, wood cabinets remain. The original primitive apothecary cabinet is now used in Wayne and Michelle’s home office.
