If you've noticed that I've been a little quiet on my socials this week.... I MOVED!

When I moved my studio downtown Cape 2 years ago, I knew that downtown was a location I wanted to stay in. I love the character, the history, and honestly the whole vibe of being downtown.
I actually looked at a few different studios, and approximately 3 seconds after I walked into this one, I just KNEW it was meant for me. This studio felt like me before I even moved my stuff in.

There's another reason this space is incredibly special to me, but that can wait for another post 😉

I think it’s safe to say that this guy was a BIG FAN of his cake! One year sessions are so much fun. One year olds have so much personality and are full of energy!

Funny fact- my smart ring thinks I’m doing a workout every time I do a cake smash session (sometimes it feels like a workout!)😅❤️

I had my 20 year high school reunion over the weekend (I just gave away my age! 😂), and it was so nice catching up with people I haven’t seen since high school. We talked about life, kids, jobs, and when I mentioned that I own a photography business, I had several people say, “That’s such a dream job!”

And honestly… it REALLY IS. 🤍

I’m always grateful that I get to do this for a living, but hearing other people call it a “dream job” made me stop and appreciate it a little extra.

I’ve never not been excited to go to work. I get to meet incredible people, love on babies, watch families grow, create beautiful things, and somehow call all of that my job. That’s pretty special.

So I guess this post is really just to say thank you. Whether you’ve been in front of my camera, or supported me from the sidelines, you’re the reason I get to keep doing my dream job. And I don’t take that for granted 🤍

I think most of us with kids in public schools are sending them back to school tomorrow. Sending all the positive vibes and well wishes for easy mornings, easy bedtimes, and an overall great week and great school year!

Newborn sessions are always special, but when it’s family, it’s EXTRA special. My cousin and his beautiful wife just welcomed their first baby (who is absolutely perfect!), and it was such a JOY to have them in front of my camera.

This is such a special one. 🤍

Sweet Lucy’s newborn portrait was selected to be featured in the 2026 National Down Syndrome Society Times Square Video Presentation in New York City.

Knowing that an image I had the privilege of creating for her family will be displayed in Times Square is incredibly special. But even more than that, I love that Lucy gets to be part of something that celebrates the beauty and uniqueness of individuals with Down syndrome.

What an honor to have captured this beautiful girl, and what a moment for her family to get to experience together. 🤍
