I’ve photographed a lot of senior sessions over the years… but this one meant a little more.

Because this time, it was my son.

I went into it like I always do—thinking about lighting, angles, all the little details. But if I’m being honest, I caught myself just having fun with him more than anything. Trying to wrap my head around how he got so old this fast.

One minute you’re teaching them how to ride a bike and the next you’re taking their senior photos.

I’m really proud of the man he’s become. Way beyond anything I could’ve imagined. Getting to be both Dad and the guy behind the camera for this moment… that’s something I’ll never take for granted.

A few photos I took for the SWFL Food & Wine Festival last weekend. Taking place at the gorgeous It's a wonderful charity event that attracts an influential crowd in our area. They have raised millions for our local Children's hospitals and other worthy causes throughout SWFL. I've worked with them for the last several years and it's always a great time.
