I really enjoyed this session, these two eloped and then we headed to the Texas State Capitol for portraits and it's always a favorite.

I always hear from people "we don't know how to pose" and the goal is ALWAYS to get you comfortable with me before stepping in front of my camera. I really value getting to know what means the most to my clients, the stories of how they met, and just having a level of trust that promotes authenticity and shakes the nerves.

Throughout the years I always studied things like composition, editing, settings, prompts for posing and these are all great and necessary but so is getting someone COMFORTABLE in front of your camera.

Comfortable to show love, comfortable to laugh and be silly, comfortable enough to be vulnerable.

I am so thankful for the beautiful people I have met and am continuing to meet on this journey of life. It's a true honor to get to share joy on the immense level of starting a new chapter, together.

I have a few dates left in November + December for Weddings and Elopements and I will be announcing a few set dates I have open for any portrait or family sessions for the upcoming holidays very soon

These two got married and we headed to one of the best free spots to take photos downtown Austin. LOVE shooting here the architecture is unmatched and all the little details give you a lot of range in options for your photos. Truly a beautiful place

Since the day I met these two I just knew they were special. This wedding was so beautifully curated with intentional details that reflected the both of them. I met Jordyn and Joel last year for a comfy in home session with their 3 dogs and every time I photograph them it gets better and better.

I think the part I don't get to talk about enough is what a huge blessing it feels like to watch people grow year after year into the beautiful chapters that come next. It feels like such a gift, I always enjoy hearing about your growing families, your new job, getting your first home, all of it. Thank you for including me on this journey

The garden at Krause Springs is SOOOO dreamy I could have spent the day looking at all of the vegetation and plants. This session felt very go with the flow and they both delivered.

I often have people ask me if I give direction and the answer is absolutely. I won't leave you with 40 photos of you standing there and smiling at the camera. My approach is more intentional, I try to get to know more about you as a couple and get into a flow state because the more comfortable you are the more it reflects in your photos.

I still feel weird in front of a camera and it truly helps to have someone you can let your weird flag fly in front of. Photos don't have to be cringe or feel like work.

when you are comfortable the real moments just show up

When we planned for this shoot we didn't talk about getting in the water but as soon as Debbie and Alex got there she told me they would be down and it was game over. I really appreciate gaining trust with my clients when it comes to stuff that is out of the normal or doesn't feel like the standard stand there and smile. I enjoy the process of telling a story and feeling the moment when you look at an image. It's my favorite form of art

I really enjoyed this elopement and capturing these two. When Emy reached out to me she said it would just be us and the officiant. When I tell you it was so special. You don't just have to say your I do's and then part ways.

You can literally do ANYTHING your heart desires, cut cake, pop champagne, go get a tattoo. I will gladly document every moment that means something to you especially if it's not traditional and goes against the grain.

They tied the knot surrounded by their closest family and their sweet kids. After we were done at the courthouse right across the street I saw this flower field and timing was on our side when I realized we were right by the take off of a small airport.

Your event doesn't have to be big or extravagant to be special. I love elopements so much.

It's not about what's less, it's about more of what matters to you.
