An extended family session is always a good idea ❤️

Not to get *too* sappy, but I always think of the kids at this session and how grateful they’ll be when they’re all grown up to have these images of all of the people that love them, all in one place.

Would you believe me if I told you this was one of the easiest newborn sessions of my career? This family trusted me with all four of their babies, followed my direction, and the result was 🙌

Mom arrived early with baby, and while she got glammed by Amy Hoerle, Makeup Artist & Stylist , I took her newborn son’s portraits. When mom was ready, we photographed her with alone baby while the three older siblings arrived with Dad and Amy helped them get ready.

Then it was show time! Mom and Dad were happy to let me run the show, and we were done within 20 minutes of the family arriving.

Forever grateful for them trusting me with their babies … all 4 of them ❤️📸

We went away for April vacation this year, and it was the perfect buffer to transition from Personality Portrait season to family session season, which is now in full swing.

Thinking of booking a family session this year? Not to be dramatic, but you’re running out of time 🤪😂 My fall is more or less completely booked, and summer only has a couple of spots left!

The reason I offer different newborn packages? Because every family is different.

Some families want the curated experience: Client Closet, hair and make-up artist, all of their images.

Other families want to prep at home and bring their own outfits and to choose their final images.

There's no right or wrong way to do your newborn session, you'll just be forever grateful that you did it 🤍

Our Lucy girl is 14 years old today 🫶

She's had a wild year - multiple eye surgeries, 2 mast cell tumors removed, falling down (all) of our interior stairs 🥲

But despite everything, she's still happy, healthy and here ... I'm so grateful 🐾
