Ge**er Childrenswear hired me as the photographer for their Fall/Winter 2026 campaign, and honestly, it was a pretty major pinch-me moment in my career 🤩

It’s kind of wild to think that just a few years ago, I was struggling to get someone to pay $50 for a session with me.

And now I have a Ge**er campaign on my resume 🤯

That didn’t happen overnight. It happened because families trusted me with their babies, their toddlers, their chaos, their personalities, and their memories over and over again.

So to every family who has ever invited me into their lives and trusted me to photograph your people: thank you. Truly. You helped build this little business into something I could have only dreamed about a few years ago, and my family and I are forever grateful ❤️

Find the family photographer you want to grow with 🌱

When I left teaching, I knew the thing I'd miss most was the relationships.

What I didn't expect? How many new ones I'd build — watching families grow, year after year, session after session.

This family is proof that just because my job changed, the relationships didn't have to.

I'll just say it: you need to hire a photographer you actually want a relationship with. One you want to grow with. You're not going to get that by booking whoever's running the cheapest minis this month.

When you hire me, I learn your family. Not just names and ages — the things that make you you. The kid who won't smile on command but will crack up if I start singing "The Happy Song". The way your family actually moves together, not just how you pose.

Six years in with this family, and I still learn something new every session.

Your second newborn session will look NOTHING like your first.

And trust me, mama, that's a good thing 🤍

Round one, it was just you, baby, and a whole lot of quiet.

Round two? Still baby-led. But now we're toddler-led too — because that little human has opinions and they will be heard 😂

But the second time? There’s even more love in the room. A lot more go with the flow. You can literally feel it. And honestly, this second newborn session was never just about baby. It's about who your family is becoming in this new chapter, with this new member.

So if your toddler photobombs every other shot, if baby's fast asleep and big kid is doing zoomies around the studio — good. That's exactly what we're here for.

This is the messy, loud, love-filled version. And it's my favorite kind of newborn session.

Rest easy, Deb 💔

I first met Deb 14 years ago, when we brought our lab, Lucy, home and were looking for an experienced dog trainer.

Deb truly blew us away with her natural instincts to know exactly what dogs needed and quickly became a friend. As I started my photography business, she signed up for one of my very first mini-session events and was incredibly supportive.

I was so lucky to get to reconnect with her to update her family portraits with her son and her pup. You can tell from the pictures how much she loved them both.

Deb touched so many lives, and I am forever grateful our paths crossed - she will be missed by so many ❤️

This expecting mom has worked with me for years and wanted to do a little something different for her maternity portraits the second time around. I would do this all day, every day.
