After all this time I did some research. Eagles produce 2-3 eggs on average. The female takes a few days to produce the eggs after mating. She lays the eggs one day at a time; they hatch in the same order. The pair then begin roosting the eggs for 34-38 days, keeping them at 105 degrees. She does most of the roosting, however, the male will take turns. The eggs are turned every 2-3 hours to keep the embryo from sticking to the shell.
I liken this to the process of 'hatching' our desires and intentions. It's easy to have a dream; it is difficult to spend the time necessary to 'roost' over the thought processes necessary to bring our idea to life. It may be best in our humanity to work on one desire at a time rather than 2-3.
