Another year with the incredible crew at 💙

I’m so grateful for the opportunities this organization and community continue to give. This season, I’m stepping into the role of Social Media Coordinator with and serving as a Local Content Creator for Bluecoats!

Already missing the sound of the corps—but move-ins are just a couple weeks away 👀

Be sure to check out the rest of the media team and show them some love!

This was our little “yes, we’re almost there!” spot every time we trudged back to our hostel in Asakusa 🖤

The entrance to the bustling market became a comfort for us — a small, beautiful moment we looked forward to after long days. We still miss those late-night walks and that feeling of home in the middle of the city.

Me, my favorite jacket, and a whole lot of relief 😅
Walking down the long steps of Chūreitō Pagoda at Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine after finally capturing my “Bucket Shot.” I felt accomplished, exhausted, and honestly a little emotional — this was the moment I could finally say, “I can pack up my camera and go home.”

Dropped off in Akihabara after a long, stressful day at Mt. Fuji.
We were walking to a TCG cafe when I spotted Tokyo Butchers with Okachi Beer Lab — a warm, steamy little spot full of people. ☕️✨
It had those perfect cinematic vibes that stop you in your tracks, and I had to capture it.

First official day in Tokyo = busiest day ever.
We did over 30k steps 😅 and after a couple detours, we finally found Meiji Jingu Shrine.

When we got there, we were greeted by these wine barrels at the entrance — they’re displayed alongside sake barrels as a symbol of friendship and cultural exchange with France.

The whole display was insanely intricate and beautiful.
And yes… I lowkey got obsessed with the tiny whale tucked into the bottom corner. 🐋

🔥Afterglow Vol. 6 — State Champs🏆

Around the World and Back — 10 Years

This one felt really special.
Cold night, packed room, everyone singing like they meant it. State Champs celebrating ten years of Around the World and Back felt less like a show and more like a shared memory.

Mallory Run, Driveways, and Real Friends all brought their own energy, and together it felt like a reminder of why I love this scene so much. Loud, welcoming, and full of people who just get it.

I left warm, smiling, and already thinking about the next show.

🇯🇵 Last day in Tokyo, walking through Asakusa.
Saw these red and blue koi lanterns hanging up and had to stop for a second.🎏
I love catching the little moments like this while traveling — the things you’d miss if you were rushing. Nothing dramatic, just something that felt nice to notice before heading home.

🎯 My bucket shot.

This was the photo I’ve been dreaming of — and I almost didn’t get it. Our 5am bus got canceled, so we scrambled onto a 10am one. By the time we got to Lake Kawaguchiko, it was 12:30pm and the day was basically against us.

We skipped spots I really wanted — the autumn corridor, the Kawaguchiko Ropeway — all gone. If we were capturing anything, it had to be Chureito Pagoda. Sunset was at 5, and time was NOT our friend.

Wagyu lunch, overpriced taxi, 400 steps with my legs screaming — and then… Mt. Fuji appeared. Clear skies, perfect light, everything lining up for maybe 5 minutes of magic. Tons of people around capturing the same thing, but this one? Belongs to me 🫶

After that, I could’ve called it and packed up my camera. (Though of course, I found a few surprise bucket shots later 😉)

Sent a postcard to my newest friend, Daku 🐻
He works at this tiny spot in Harajuku called Anakuma Cafe, and he was genuinely the sweetest bear to meet.
We chatted about favorite foods and where we’re from while he made my matcha (which was so good). I’m really glad I didn’t skip this place — it ended up being my #1 Tokyo moment and easily a top 5 Japan memory.
(Reel coming soon 🖤)
