Another one finished...love this car!

Well, about 120 hours of work...wanted to do something to commemorate what I think was a pretty incredible season for the Minnesota Vikings. So proud of this team! Coupling that with Lewis' third championship and as far as sports go, it's been a really good year. Anyway, I wanted to say thank you to the people who have always been so supportive and encouraging to me. I wouldn't be where I am today with my art if it weren't for them. They, I guess, are in my "Ring of Honor." So, thank you to Ryan, Diana, Heidi, Leigh, Bryn and Abby!

...and another one. :) This one is of Ferrari's limited edition f12tdf, which commemorated their dominance of the Tour de France (the 1950s and 1960s auto endurance race...not the cycling event). Gotta love a V12 front-engine Ferrari. Yummy!

Really was a great weekend. As such, it took me a while to do this. On Sunday afternoon, in Austin, TX at the Circuit of The Americas, Lewis Hamilton entered the pantheon of Formula 1 legends that have won 3 World Championships. His 10th win of the season put him alongside Michael Schumacher, Juan Manuel Fangio, Alain Prost, Sebastian Vettel, Sir Jack Brabham, Sir Jackie Stewart, Niki Lauda, Nelson Piquet and Ayrton Senna. A great race and such a cool moment to watch. On to Mexico City and the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez. Go Lewis!

9th win of 2015 and 42nd win of his career...and on the cusp of a third World Championship! Lewis can clinch the title at the next race in Austin! Go Lewis!

With his 8th win of the season (and 41st of his career - tying him for career victories with the legendary Ayrton Senna), Lewis extended his lead in the Drivers Championship to 48 points on Sunday at the Japanese Grand Prix. With only 5 races remaining and Lewis (and the Mercedes AMG Petronas F1 team) performing at this level, a 3rd Championship is looking inevitable! Go Lewis!

Well, 12 of 19 races done and with this win (his seventh), Lewis has a 53 point lead in the championship. Just dominant. Can't wait for Singapore under the lights in 2 weeks! Another pole position and Lewis will tie the record set by his idol with 8 consecutive pole positions. With a win, he will have 41 career victories in the same number of races as that same legendary driver, Ayrton Senna. Go Lewis!

Today, Jules Bianchi was laid to rest...the first Formula 1 driver since the great Ayrton Senna in 1994 to die as a result of a racing accident. May your soul rest in peace, Jules!
