Last year I was sitting at Cannon Beach it was 7:30am and I was anticipating,praying ,hoping for the Roosevelt elk heard. There they were my heart about stopped with excitement. First time seeing them on the beach.

Sparks Lake with South Sister and Broken Top ,is a favorite lake of my friend Becky and I ,who saddly just passed away suddenly in August.
She was my adventure buddy.
Here we car camped shortly before she passed.The hatchback was wide open,packed with our sleepy bags, plastic bin of instant noodles. We fit like sardines.But we didnt care to tired from exploring and carrying our camera gear.Then we would start laughing not sure what about. Things quieted down stars were out one of us all most asleep the other wondering if the right setting was used on a shot!!! I loved her company.šŸ¤£
We sat shoulder to shoulder on the bank of this beautiful place soaking in the beauty,praising God as we waited for sunset.
I miss her and so grateful to have had such a good friend. I believe we will meet again someday.
Sparks Lake is a very special place for me.
I miss her .
