A year filled with a soul-crushing cancer diagnosis, followed by some of the absolute greatest memories of my life, as our family traveled to another state for me to receive treatment. 2018 was a defining year for me. I'm often asked the question, "Which do you like better? Social work or photography?". My answer is simple: I'm passionate about supporting women and the journeys we call motherhood and familyhood. And...I'm super fortunate to do this in both areas. This week I photographed a family who I'm quite familiar with. I shot their wedding, and the birth of their twins. And today?
