And a baby makes SIX🫶🏻that first image just stops me in my tracks each time I look at it—everyone leaning on mom, as she smiles a soft smile filled with so much grace, tenderness, and kindness. She is the heartbeat of her family—and I think that first image perfectly showcases that❤️

Now, swipe a couple slides over to see the one with grandma, her daughter, and her granddaughter. I look at that image and I see another beautiful woman, just a few generations ahead of her daughter, who also was (and still is) the heartbeat of her home. I see a woman who also had 4 babies running around her house at one time, and now she gets to watch her oldest have that same experience❤️

I could go on and on, but I need to wrap it up because IG only lets you write so much. But the moral of the story is there is so much love in these photographs❤️and I hope they are images that this family cherishes for generations to come❤️

These twin girls😭💕just melt my heart!!! We were forced to shoot these on an incredibly cloudy day because the Ohio radar told us we had a sold 2 weeks of cloudy days headed our way—but boy, looking through these, there isn’t a drop of dreariness in them!!! So much love pouring out of these new parents for their twin girls💕Alaina welcomed me into her home and made me feel like we had been friends for YEARS even though we were just meeting for the first time! And let me tell you, those are my favorite kinds of sessions🫶🏻Alaina—you are pure joy!!!! Thank you for welcoming me into your home to document this beautiful season you are in!

The perfect post to kick off a snowy day❤️A cozy morning at home with The W Family. When Lindsay first sent me pictures of her home, there were 3 things I knew I wanted to incorporate right off the bat:

1. The exterior of their home—I mean, come on!!!! Those Christmas wreaths on every window! Perfection!!!
2. The archways throughout their home—sooo much visual interest and charm!
3. Those old stairs—this is Lindsay’s childhood home, and I just loved the idea of getting a photograph of her kids running down the same stairs she ran down when she was little.

Sooo much sweetness from this little family of 4🫶🏻Enjoy your snow day, Columbus!!! I know my babies will be itching to go outside and play in the snow right after they finish breakfast!

It’s always a honor to be asked to photograph another photographer🤍When Amanda emailed me back in March about doing her newborn photos, I was so incredibly touched! Fast forward to this week, and we finally got to have our session together. We rescheduled once due to a very cloudy day—and I am SO glad we did because we had so much sun pouring through their windows yesterday.

When I first saw the lighting coming through onto their walls, I knew I wanted to hang out in that specific spot for a bit. Amanda and Tim have these gorgeous triangular windows in their home that were casting such stunning light onto the walls—and I just love the way it adds so much depth and warmth to their images.

Amanda, I know this is just a little teaser of what is to come, but I truly cannot wait for you to see the rest! Thank you for welcoming me into your home as we worked together to bottle up this season of life you are currently in. I hope these are photographs you cherish for decades to come🫶🏻

This song, paired with these images😭grab your tissues!!!🥲I love all kinds of newborn sessions, but there is something so special about a fresh-48 session. Documenting those first hours of mom & dad with their baby is just such an honor🫶🏻And I promise you, your heart will just melt looking through these! To say I’m smitten with these images would be an understatement🩷

A cozy in-home newborn session with this family as they welcomed baby girl into their family. We took things slow, as mama had just had her C-section one week ago. As someone who had a C-section herself, I remember what that felt like, so we made sure to not push her too much. But I’m sure Libby still needed a nice nap after we finished photos😉🫶🏻

Libby told me in her Q+A form that their little boy, David, tends to be shy with new people, but he warmed up to me right away and I had such a fun morning with him! His sister was an absolute angel for photos, and she had the most beautiful blonde hair with white eye lashes!

I think these images beautifully showcase their new life together as a family of 4. Libby, thank you for welcoming me into your home🫶🏻you all are just the best!

Ugh, that light😍and the sweetest little newborn girlie🫶🏻we took our time with this in-home session—little miss had a great night of sleep the night before (YAY) but that meant that all she was in the mood for during pictures was food. And I mean, same, right? Who would want to take pictures when you could have top notch food instead?😉but it was all worth it in the end for these beautiful images of a new family of four🫶🏻

Caitlin, thank you for welcoming me into your home and letting me love on your babies while we did pictures🫶🏻you all are just so sweet, and it was such an honor to get to take these for you guys! I cannot wait for you to get to see the rest🫶🏻

I think every session would instantly become 10x sweeter if grandparents were added to the mix🥹there’s just something about the love they bring that adds a whole new element to family pictures.

They bring a lighthearted, carefree tenderness that comes from being a seasoned parent—who now gets to simply enjoy the kids—without all the added stress that comes with parenthood. Guess that’s why they earn their new title of “grand” with their old title of “parent”😉

I’m grateful for my evening spent with this family🫶🏻Taylor, the way you love on your babies is the sweetest thing. You and Greg have created something so beautiful, and I was honored to document it all💛

I mean, how in the world am I supposed to write a caption to sum up this sweetness?! It’s impossible!!! The sweetest girlie waiting on her baby brother to officially join the family next year🥲She may have taken some time to warm up to the camera, but you’d never know it looking at these!!!

I just love the feeling of these with all the mixed light shining on them—they are such a beautiful family!🫶🏻

Fall sessions are rolling in and I am *so* glad the autumn colors are finally starting to show up here in Ohio! This must be one of the latest years we’ve ever had those colors show up—and just in time because I have fall minis all weekend!

This family was an absolute joy to work with🫶🏻it was my first time meeting them, and we spent the whole evening chatting and snapping pictures while their 3 pups followed us around. I could have talked to them all night long! Amber, thank you for choosing me to document this precious season you are in with your boys🫶🏻you are an absolute gem of a human!!!❤️

Ps…the last photo with that golden hour sun shining straight into my lens just melts my heart—you can just *feel* the emotion in it🥹

The Henry Family🫶🏻This is year 2 of me working with this bunch, and as I drove home last night after their session, I just felt so grateful. One aspect of my job that I hold near and dear to my heart are the kids I get to work with. Each child is so different, and my heart is always on the hunt to find unique ways to connect with each kid and continue to build their trust during our session. My whole goal is to make them feel seen—whether they are the most outgoing child, the child who prefers to hang back and take it all in, or anywhere inbetween. I truly believe that in making kids—of any age—feel seen, you open the door to allowing their true personality unfold in front of your camera. And that was last night with The Henry six💛

Ashley, thank you for asking me to document this season with your babies🫶🏻the love you all share for one another is so sweet and pure. Glad we could dodge the rain together🫶🏻
