Good Morning Canadian, this morning I went by the Donut Shop to get donuts for our Hemphill County 4-H kids and parents heading to State 4-H Roundup in College Station. The gentleman that owns the Donut Shop told me he was facing closure because of the road construction mess in Canadian that has grossly impacted his business. He said he was not getting enough business to pay his bills. All our businesses along 60/83 are struggling. Milton Cooke told me his business at the Goat was tough too. Let’s all make it a special point to be proactive to keep using these businesses all up and down our business corridor that are struggling to stay in business. Our little community can’t stand any more losses. Let’s help them out and be “Diffence Makers”. Enjoy your day, thanks. — with Amy Albin and 37 others.

Spent the morning at the cemetery doing Kimberly and her Grandma’s flowers. Sat for a little bit just pondering and thanking God for His protection of Kimberly and His love for me. He is a good, good Father! Her birthday is the 31st, always right at the end of school and close to Memorial Day. We celebrated today. Love and miss you baby girl!

Last Saturday I had the opportunity to take an Off Camera Flash Class provided by Joe Baker Photography in Lubbock. Joe is a talented photographer who loves to share his knowledge and educate others who want to learn. Joe provided models, facilities, and flash modifiers as well as sharing his techniques. These are just a few of the pictures that I took. Thank you Joe Baker for a wonderful opportunity! Still working on editing techniques but having fun learning!
