One year ago, on June 23, 2025, we said goodbye to our fur niece Ziva girl far sooner than we ever expected. While she had been facing some health challenges, nothing could have prepared us for the loss of such a special soul.

Ziva was more than just a pup - she was family. She brought comfort during some of our hardest moments, especially after we lost our beloved Nikki. Somehow, she always seemed to know when we needed a little extra love, a gentle nudge, or simply her presence beside us.

One of my favorite memories will always be having Ziva serve as the ring bearer in our wedding. She stepped into a role that Nikki was originally meant to have, and it felt like such a beautiful way to honor Nikki’s memory. Ziva carried that honor perfectly, just as she did everything else, with grace, love, and her own special charm.

She was always camera, stealing hearts in every photo. Truly one of the most photogenic pups I’ve ever known. But beyond the pictures, it was her loving spirit, loyalty, and ability to make everyone around her smile that made her unforgettable.

The void she left behind is still felt every day. We miss her deeply, but we take comfort in knowing she’s running free beyond the Rainbow Bridge, reunited with Nikki and watching over all of us—especially my sister in law, whom she loved so fiercely.

We love you and miss you so much, Ziva. Thank you for every tail wag, every cuddle, every smile, and every memory. Until we meet again, sweet girl. 💕🌈🐾

We’ve had a few personal things happen over the past month and a half and we haven’t been able to get pictures up! Thank you for your patience.
But we will have a family photoshoot up soon!
