🦌 YOUTH SEASON RECAP 🦌
Youth season was a hot one! With temperatures pushing 80°, the weather definitely made things challenging. Even so, our young hunters were able to put their first bucks in the truck bed and create memories they'll never forget.
While the boys were celebrating, the Rural Recon team spent the evenings helping families reconnect with deer they had been searching for all day.

Shoot straight, stay off that shoulder, and remember... a warm day in the woods is still better than a day at work.
If you've got a buddy shooting a 6.5 Creedmoor, didnt make the time to practice, or just cant see red on green, make sure they have our numbers saved.

🍂🦌🚁 The October lull is almost OVER! 🚁🦌🍂
Looks like Mother Nature is finally flipping the switch this week! We're squeezing in some last-minute farm work while these south winds are still pushing temps near 90°.
Every day the canopy gets a little thinner, and that means better visibility for drone recovery calls. If your hunt doesn't go exactly as planned, remember we're ready to help put eyes in the sky when it matters most.
🎟️ Don't forget: Every Deer Recovery customer is automatically entered into our Customer Appreciation Raffle!
Good luck this season, stay safe, shoot straight, and make some memories! 🦌🔥

"Alright, be honest... how many times a day are you checking trail cam pics right now? Asking for a friend. 😂🦌"

10/01/2026

Ever drive 5 hours to your hunting property, put fresh batteries in your trail cam... and have your target buck rip it off the tree that same night? 😅
That's exactly why we offer Trail Camera Maintenance. For out-of-state landowners and lease holders, we keep your cameras running so you don't have to make the trip just to swap batteries, pull cards, or rehang a camera after a buck gets a little too curious.
📍 Northwest Missouri only
check this buck out! 🦌🔥

Got the call on a rogue bull tonight just south of Cameron, Missouri.
You know that feeling when a bull has been missing for a couple of days and you're wondering, "Where the heck did that big guy go?"
Conditions were perfect for thermal tonight. Cool temperatures, cloud cover, and everything was lighting up on the screen.
The drone was in the air for maybe five minutes. A quick pass over a few fields and there he was.
The thing about a 1,500-pound bull is you can't hide him for long. He absolutely glows on thermal.
We found him tucked behind a bale three fields over. The coolest part was spotting him from more than 500 yards away.
Technology is an incredible tool when it's used the right way.
Bull recovered, guided back to the pen like a champ, and another happy customer tonight.
Drones for the win.
