There is never a time when the folks at Rogue Active Duty Animal Rescue—RADAR ask me to attend an event for pictures when I won't be there supporting them in any way I can. The Pints for Pits event at Red's Corner is a favorite, not only because I get to love on the dogs but also because I'm reminded of the dedication and drive these volunteers, fosters, and adopters put into this organization.

If you're looking for your new best friend or a pal for a current pup, please contact Rogue Active Duty Animal Rescue - RADAR! While they are my favorite rescue, I'm not against ANY rescue. Adopt; don't shop. It saves lives. Shelters are in crisis mode, and rescues are at capacity and pouring everything they have into these animals. When you rescue from Radar, you also get a gift certificate for a free mini-session to celebrate your new addition!

Even if you can't adopt, you can donate, share posts, foster, volunteer time or services, or ask rescues of your choosing how you can help. It doesn't always mean adoption, but there's always something anyone can do to help!

What fun it was last night getting to photograph the Wassail event at James Creek Cider House! Kids, adults and pets alike came out for the traditional old English event where they parade the orchard reciting the poem, O Apple Tree while presenting offerings to the trees for a great harvest in the coming year.

If you haven't been, James Creek is a cidery in Cameron, NC and is worth your trip after being named the 5th Cidery in the country by USA Today! Their Beehive Ginger cider was named the 4th Best Cider in the country as well!
