Story time: last year I did a wedding in which the brides grandfather had dementia which had progressed pretty far. . He sat in the front row at the wedding and when the bride walked down the aisle, his face lit up he remembered her in the moment she kissed his forehead, and the ceremony proceeded. I know it's frowned upon with photographers, but This is footage of me showing the bride pictures from the ceremony from my iPad. This really impacted me because my grandma who pretty much raised me was an earlier stages of dementia and sometimes seeing someone go through something you're going through yet carrying it so well can be empowering. He is no longer here with us, and as my grandma goes through what could be her final stages I have the strength of knowing deep down inside that I'm not alone. And if you're reading it going to the same thing, I pray you have peace in your heart and in your mind because it's not easy.

funny story. I was late to this event because I went to the venue across the street. Why didn't I notice right away?? because I know everybody. so when I see familiar faces, it's not weird to me or the other people in the room that I'm taking pictures. I didn't notice I was in the wrong spot until I realized it was a graduation party and not a birthday party. 😂😂 so when I showed up at the right Party, I had to run around frantically because I was an hour behind schedule 😂🤦🏾‍♂️

🥹 My honorary nephew is 12 and time is flying 😫 I did his mom's maternity photos... 😂😂 There no other place id rather had been than at his party. He also got to meet his favorite artist 🙌🏾 hes probably gonna be mad at the last picture tho lol

I went to this graduation for Keylanny but if you've been to a graduation before you know there's a lot of downtime, especially if you're there for one person. Being as though I had a camera in my hand, I have a bunch of photos of kids that I took that will probably never see the light of day if I don't share them publicly lol so here it is.
