We don't have a store open to the public but those that carry our coffee are listed on our website.-Dan Dishner I have been around coffee my entire life. My Mom always had a fresh pot of coffee on the stove when I was growing up. As I recall, my Dad never turned down a cup of coffee and like most people of his generation, his coffee was Colombian and it came out of a can. Over the course of time,

I realized that buying whole beans and grinding my own resulted in a better cup of coffee. Soon I was buying a couple different roasts and blending my own. I will never forget the day a friend brought me a bag of coffee that his Dad had roasted. From that moment forward I have sought to achieve the perfect cup of coffee by roasting my own beans. I have been doing this now for several years and I continue to learn something new everyday. If you like a good cup of coffee I think you will like Coffee on the Porch. I believe I have a roast that fills the spectrum of just about every coffee drinker. I think my Dad would really like my coffee too.

Schooner Grace Bailey- Good morning from the sunny Coast of Maine. This is a follow up shot from my outing yesterday morning. Sail Grace Bailey had just gone past the breakwater lighthouse and was attracting quite the crowd and for good reason! The passengers onboard certainly picked a good few days to be sailing the beautiful Maine coastline.

How is everyone? We are definitely having summer type weather which is nice. I’m not big on hot but it was a long winter! I’m thinking it’s about time to get my e-bike out to do local deliveries. I can always find a parking spot!

Enjoy the day my friends and have a favorable Friday.- Dan

Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse and Schooner Grace Bailey- Good morning from the sunny Coast of Maine. I had to earn this shot I took yesterday afternoon, one mile out and one mile back! The Rockland breakwater always amazes me and when people ask me for suggestions on what to do when visiting, it’s on my short list. I was happy to see some of the sails up on Sail Grace Bailey as it went past the lighthouse and yes, I would love to have seen more! The Bufflehead in front was a bonus.

How is everyone? We could see mid eighties today, a good day to go for a sail! I’ll be heading downtown later today to deliver more coffee to Camden Deli. We love having our coffee served there!

Enjoy the day my friends and have a thankful Thursday.- Dan

The Lewis R. French, America’s Oldest Schooner- Good morning from the sunny Coast of Maine. Well, that was fun! I managed to get a few shots of The French leaving Camden Harbor yesterday morning before I headed to Curtis Island Lighthouse outlook. When they disappeared behind the island the sails were still down so I was happy to see at least one almost up when they reappeared on the other side. Captain Becky at the helm appears to be the only one on the boat but most of the passengers and crew are busy hoisting the sails. I can almost hear First Mate Alex yelling, “When I say heave, you say ho!”. Have a great time out there everyone!

How is everyone? I have another busy day in front of me. I’m getting ready to head back to Rockland Harbor to hopefully get a few shots of Sail Grace Bailey as they go past the breakwater lighthouse. Coffee delivered yesterday, I better hurry!

Enjoy the day my friends and have a wonderful Wednesday.- Dan

Outer Harbor Sunrise- Good morning from the sunny Coast of Maine. I had my feet in the sand at Laite Beach when I took this shot this morning, my first sunrise shot of June. It was almost a cloudless morning, just a few here and there. There’s still lots of empty buoys but it’s still very early June!

How is everyone? My big delivery today is for Sail Grace Bailey in Rockland Harbor for their first sail of the season. French roast and dark decaf all bagged up and ready to go! I’ll be heading down to Camden Harbor shortly to get a few shots of Schooner Lewis R. French, America’s oldest schooner, as it leaves for another adventure sailing the Maine coastline. If I time it right I might even score a cup of coffee!

Enjoy the day my friends and have a thoughtful Tuesday. -Dan

Onboard the Beautiful Angelique- Good morning from the cool and sunny Coast of Maine. I wasn’t onboard for very long yesterday afternoon, just long enough to deliver coffee, say hi to Captain Dennis, and get a few photos. It was sprinkling when I took this shot. They are heading out this morning for six days, I’m in hopes of getting a few more photos as they leave Camden Harbor. I better get started.

How is everyone? Lots of orders came in yesterday which is great, I know what I’ll be doing this morning. I need to check several stores today as well, local shelves are emptying fast these days!

Enjoy the day my friends and have a safe and peaceful new week.- Dan
