We don't have a store open to the public but those that carry our coffee are listed on our website.-Dan Dishner I have been around coffee my entire life. My Mom always had a fresh pot of coffee on the stove when I was growing up. As I recall, my Dad never turned down a cup of coffee and like most people of his generation, his coffee was Colombian and it came out of a can. Over the course of time,

I realized that buying whole beans and grinding my own resulted in a better cup of coffee. Soon I was buying a couple different roasts and blending my own. I will never forget the day a friend brought me a bag of coffee that his Dad had roasted. From that moment forward I have sought to achieve the perfect cup of coffee by roasting my own beans. I have been doing this now for several years and I continue to learn something new everyday. If you like a good cup of coffee I think you will like Coffee on the Porch. I believe I have a roast that fills the spectrum of just about every coffee drinker. I think my Dad would really like my coffee too.

Onboard Angelique- Good morning from the Coast of Maine. Yesterday was one of those days that you needed to bring a raincoat, even if the sun was out
(I didn’t)! I had several coffee deliveries to make, saving Angelique for last. The sun was out when I got onboard but it was definitely cloudy. I even got a shot of the end of a rainbow as I was walking there. I was ready to leave when the skies opened up. Check out my reel. It was nice meeting several of the passengers as I waited it out, a very interesting group. Have a great six day cruise Captain Dennis, first mate Pierce, and passengers!

How is everyone? I’m keeping my options open today. My cup of Honduras Natural is reminding me to slow down and enjoy the moment. Have a wonderful Labor Day my friends.- Dan

Camden Windjammer Festival- Good morning from the Coast of Maine- So much to see! It was nice seeing Grace Bailey back in Camden Harbor. A tip of the hat to Captain Sam and all those responsible for all the work that was done restoring her! I’m glad I got there early, they pulled out as the chimes struck 7:00! Check out my reel from yesterday if you missed it.

Thank you everyone for another successful week in the books, you are appreciated more than you know. The last couple of weeks have been full of activity and it required lots of energy, motivation, and caffeine from me to get it all accomplished. My time posting on social media is my down time. I can relax, take a deep breath, and share my journey with you. Your likes, comments, and sharing my daily photos always makes me smile. Thank you everyone!

May your day be filled with lots of smiles, blessings, and good coffee.- Dan

Camden Windjammer Festival- Good morning from the Coast of Maine. It certainly is a treat to see so many windjammers gathered in one place! I didn’t make it there yesterday as they all arrived but I was happy to see them still here this morning. I almost missed Sail Grace Bailey as Captain Sam and crew pulled out at seven o’clock on the nose! (Check out my reel)! The lobster crates are for the much anticipated Lobster Crate Race. Old, overweight, and slow need not apply. I’ll be heading back down today for coffee deliveries for Windjammer Angelique, Peter Otts on the water, and Once A Tree. Parking may be a problem.

How is everyone? We were getting some rain this morning but the sun is shining through the clouds now. It should be a beautiful day. My day will consist mostly of coffee, drinking, roasting, bagging, shipping, and delivering with an occasional photograph here and there.

Enjoy the day my friends and have a wonderful weekend.- Dan

Rockport Harbor- Good morning from the Coast of Maine. It was overcast this morning with very little fog so I decided to check out Rockport harbor again. There’s always something going on there! Several of the lobster boats that spend the winter in Camden harbor are located here for now. Another fun morning.

How is everyone? I put a good size dent in our new shipment of greens yesterday! As I was looking around this morning I was wondering if I roasted enough to get me through all my orders today. Beth's Farm Market has two large boxes of coffee I’ll be delivering today and Once A Tree, and Camden Deli will both get their coffee as well. A busy weekend with the Camden Windjammer Festival taking place this Labor Day weekend. Such a fun event!

Enjoy the day my friends and have a fabulous Friday.- Dan

Curtis Island Lighthouse- Good morning from the Coast of Maine. I woke up this morning to the beautiful sound of rain! This was my first stop yesterday morning before sunrise, always a good place to start the day!

How is everyone? Well, I know you all have been losing sleep over this so you will be happy to know my two pallets of greens arrived late yesterday afternoon and all seventeen bags are now safely in the roasting room! I was so happy I got up early and started roasting at four this morning trying to get caught up on orders. Needless to safe, a nap is needed more than caffeine this morning.

Enjoy the day my friends and have a thankful Thursday.- Dan
