Time never stands still.
Little girls grow up, horses grow older, and life leads us down new roads.

The picture on the left was taken in January of 2020. The one on the right was taken just a few days ago.

At the last show, I was told that these two would soon be going their separate ways and that it would be their final time competing together. The moment I heard that, I knew I wanted to recreate this photograph one last time.

Six years have passed between these images, yet the bond they share is still so evident. While this chapter may be coming to an end, the memories, lessons, and love built along the way will remain long after the final ride.

Sometimes a photograph captures more than a moment—it captures time itself. ❤️🐴

Most people see rodeo as the big, explosive moments—the catch, the hook, the hardest buck. I’m more interested in the stillness right before it all begins. That quiet pause at the chute. What’s running through their head? What drives them to take that step? Or is it just a clear, focused mind locked on what’s next?

It’s a fleeting moment, but it carries so many questions.

Had the sweetest engagement session with the soon-to-be Mr. and Mrs. Robinson! 🤍

I’ll be photographing their wedding this season, beautifully planned by Ever After Events Planning — and if this session is any indication, their day is going to be something special.

This will be my first time collaborating with a wedding planner, and I’m genuinely looking forward to working alongside a team that cares so deeply about their couples.
