Newborn Lifestyle sessions are one of my favorites. Reflecting your style and your home to create an image that is unique to your family as you welcome a new addition. This family was full of love and strength and peace, and I can still feel it when I look as these images. ⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣⁣

I’m sure I have a style, but I also know I’m not like the others. The others, who you can look at their images and every one is almost the same. The others where a formula creates their images every time. This light, at this time, with this style props, and this post-processing. I enjoy making in the moment, adjusting to the scene, editing by the mood and creating a unique image for each scene and client. The entire point of shooting for me, is that I can create and be challenged. I do it only for enjoyment. The money I make, goes toward the support I need to get out of the house, the equipment and the props.... I’m not getting rich off shooting, but it does enrich my life. The photos from this session, my third of the day.... are entirely different from the other two session before it. And that for me is the fun part, letting everything flow and morph and become what it was going to be, while I document the moment and bring it to life. @ Peconic River Herb Farm

One year ago today I had the honor of meeting a beautiful little girl. I was blessed to witness her body’s only time here earth-side. She was beautiful, she was precious, she was delicate.
