When I first started this journey, i’d always say “I never want this to feel like a job..” and I’m proud to say that it didn’t. It remained a hobby that provided me with 5 abundant, rewarding years of capturing memories.

From early morning traveling, to late nights hand editing thousands of images.. I’ve loved every moment. Watching return client’s children grow up each year has been one of my favorite parts! With that being said, my own babies have grown up too and they need my time (fellow baseball mamas- IYKYK 😅)

With spring inquiries coming in, I’ve spoken to a few of you and am so thankful for your understanding! I have booked my final two weddings for 2024 and am not taking on anything further.

Past clients- I will keep up your ShootProof galleries for now and will give an advanced notice if that ever changes. I love you all!

Thank you all for the support, and friendships made! I’m thankful for everything and am so happy about this transition. And if you ever need photographer referrals, I know some great and talented girls in the area! ❤️

The beautiful Rice family ❤️ I loved that they chose their dock as the location, and Carlie and Emory are just the sweetest! We took their session earlier this fall, but today seemed like a special day to share because… it’s Corey’s birthday week! I hope it’s a great one 🎉

Hi everyone! It was been so long since I’ve made a post. But I’m still here- and photography is still in full swing!

This fall has been the busiest yet for work + life balance. My boys are getting older, and are both involved in sports which interfered with my typical posting routine. I apologize to all of the beautiful families who haven’t been posted on social media yet this fall.. but keep a look out, because your moments are coming soon ☺️ first up.. we have the lovely Newsome’s!

As always, the endless support I receive from clients both new and old never ceases to amaze me. I love you all, and your babies. Thank you ❤️

Sarah and I had the best time running around the point last weekend to capture her senior portraits! We played with horses, laughed as we waded through water that was much deeper than expected, and then ended the evening behind her family’s crab house.

Two years ago, we did the same thing for her older sister. I have loved watching both of these girls grow up to be beautiful, strong women!

(P.S. Fleeton Point Seafood is one of the best 😉)

During sessions, I often catch myself saying, “I’m probably enjoying this more than you are!” And it’s always so true.. especially during a warm summer evening with a late sunset + the happiest little babe who loved the beach!

I’ll be finishing up this families gallery soon, and beginning another very special one from tuesday night. There are two spots left in August if anyone else loves this season as much as I do and wants to take advantage of it before it is gone!☀️

June is finally here, and the sun is finally shining (If you’re from the nnk- you know how much we needed that!).

Summertime is my favorite- and I am so excited that warmer sessions have begun! I believe they bring a special type of happiness and glow that we just don’t see within the colder seasons ☀️✨

Congratulations to Rebecca, an official ODU graduate! It was so fun exploring the campus together, and getting to know her and her family. She studied elementary education, and I loved hearing how passionate she is about that. Our community is lucky to have such amazing educators who really do love our children. You’ll do great things Rebecca! ❤️
