The Detailz: The Most Hated Cars Ever? Which one you hated the most?

Every generation gets a few vehicles that become automotive punching bags.

The Saturn Ion was criticized for its center-mounted gauges, plastic body panels, and rental-car reputation. The Subaru Tribeca became infamous for one of the most controversial SUV front-end designs in automotive history. The Tesla Cybertruck shattered every traditional pickup truck design rule and instantly became one of the most polarizing vehicles ever built. And the BMW XM has been called everything from a high-performance luxury SUV masterpiece to the car that lost BMW’s design identity.

Yet despite all the criticism, every one of these vehicles has passionate defenders.

The Cybertruck became one of the most talked-about EVs on the planet. The BMW XM delivers supercar-level performance from a luxury SUV. The Tribeca gained a reputation for reliability among owners. And the Saturn Ion remains an affordable entry point into car culture for many enthusiasts.

So here’s the debate:

Which vehicle on this list deserves the hate the most… and which one do you think history will eventually prove was misunderstood?

Saturn Ion, Subaru Tribeca, Tesla Cybertruck, or BMW XM?

Let the arguments begin.

Here’s a more engagement-focused, SEO-heavy version that should drive comments, shares, and arguments:

The Supercar Showdown: Ferrari SF90 XX vs Lamborghini Revuelto

Two completely different approaches to the modern hybrid supercar.
One uses brutal turbocharged precision. The other leans into naturally aspirated emotion. And somehow, both cracked the 1,000-horsepower barrier while still feeling unmistakably Italian.

The Ferrari SF90 XX is essentially Ferrari taking the already insane SF90 platform and turning it into a road-going track weapon. More aero. More aggression. More downforce. More theater. The twin-turbo V8 hits hard and instantly, while the electric system fills every possible gap in acceleration. The result feels almost unreal from behind the wheel — violent, sharp, and incredibly clinical at speed.

The Lamborghini Revuelto goes the opposite direction emotionally. Instead of abandoning the V12, Lamborghini doubled down on it. A naturally aspirated 6.5L V12 screaming to over 9,000 rpm combined with hybrid assistance creates something that feels alive in a way very few modern cars do. It’s dramatic, loud, and mechanical in a world moving toward silence and software.

On paper, the SF90 XX is the more track-focused machine. Faster transitions. More aerodynamic grip. More precision. But the Revuelto delivers something the Ferrari can’t fully replicate: the emotion of a naturally aspirated flagship Lamborghini with electrification used to enhance the experience instead of replace it.

The crazy part? These cars already represent the end of an era. Massive displacement, hybrid power, active aero, and four-digit horsepower numbers may never feel this raw again.

The real question is:
Do you want the surgical precision of the SF90 XX…
or the raging V12 soul of the Revuelto?

Buyer’s Guide: Ferrari SF90 XX

The Ferrari SF90 XX takes everything insane about the standard SF90 and pushes it even further. Over 1,000 horsepower, aggressive active aerodynamics, and a chassis tuned like a road-legal race car make this one of the wildest modern Ferraris ever built. But with hybrid technology, advanced electronics, and extensive carbon fiber components, ownership costs can get very serious very quickly.

The hybrid system alone can lead to massive repair bills, while the twin-turbo V8 and dual-clutch transmission add another layer of complexity. Add in carbon fiber aero and track-focused components, and even minor damage can become extremely expensive. This is the kind of Ferrari that delivers hypercar performance — with hypercar maintenance costs to match.

Still… few modern cars look or feel this dramatic.

Ferrari SF90 XX

So this is the Ferrari SF90 XX — a car that basically takes the already insane SF90 Stradale and turns it into a road-legal track weapon. Over 1,000 horsepower, aggressive active aerodynamics, a massive fixed rear wing, and enough downforce to completely transform how this car attacks corners. Ferrari didn’t build this to be subtle. They built it to remind everyone they still know how to make a hypercar feel violent, emotional, and brutally fast.

The craziest part might honestly be the aero package. From the active front aero system to the gigantic rear wing and aggressive diffuser setup, the SF90 XX looks like it escaped directly from Ferrari’s GT racing program. And unlike a lot of modern hybrid hypercars, this thing still feels dramatic — loud twin-turbo V8, sharp steering, instant electric torque, and styling that looks completely unhinged in person.

Would you take this over a Lamborghini Revuelto or McLaren W1?

The Detailz: Bugatti’s Wildest Car Yet

While the Tourbillon represents Bugatti’s next generation of V16 hybrid performance, rumors surrounding Programme Solitaire suggest something even more exclusive could be coming: a one-off hypercar blending Tourbillon elegance with Bolide aggression.

Imagine the naturally aspirated V16 hybrid architecture, luxury craftsmanship, and timeless design philosophy of the Tourbillon combined with the extreme aerodynamics, track-focused attitude, and visual drama of the Bolide.

The bigger question is whether Bugatti should continue building limited-production hypercars—or lean harder into coachbuilt masterpieces that exist as one-of-one automotive art.

If money was no object, would you rather own a Tourbillon, or a completely unique Bugatti built only for you?

Bugatti is developing an ultra-exclusive hypercar combining elements of the Tourbillon and Bolide.
