If your mind has been heavy lately, this reel is for you. πŸ’š
This newest Calling You to Stay reel features anonymous messages left by students at the Idaho Fine Arts Academy. Full of reminders that even in loneliness and uncertainty… you are not alone.

If you’re new here, Calling You to Stay is a community storytelling project created to give people a safe place to leave anonymous voice messages for strangers who may be struggling with their mental health. These messages are shared through The Continuation Project to spread hope, human connection, and remind people there is still a reason to stay.

In a world that can feel painfully disconnected, this project is proof that kindness from a stranger can find someone on their hardest day.

If one of these messages spoke to you, stay awhile. Follow along for more hope, community connection, and reminders that your existence matters more than you know. 🀍

Chemo brain is in full swing because I fully forgot to post my round 3 photo dump 🫠

Round three of chemo was a doozy. I learned about and have been experiencing a lot of anticipatory nausea (didn’t even know that was a thing until recently), and it hit me hard that morning. Even pre meds were not helping. Ironically, after I finished the chemo infusion and it was time to leave, I felt totally fine! But even now, if I think about chemo too much, my stomach instantly turns. 😣 This round also kept me down and out little longer than the other two but I got through it.

Now on to the good news🀍

My labs look amazing, and my liver function is completely back to normal!!

I have my last round of AC chemo (aka the red devil) this Monday, and then I get a two week break before starting the second type of chemo, 12 rounds of weekly Taxol.

So happy I get to hit this milestone next week. One step closer and I’m feeling super grateful my body is handling it all with such grace. 🩷

This poem spilled out of me today like word vomit. Hopefully this finds the right audience and inspires someone who needs to hear this. Dedicated to anyone that has been through a lot of life, suffering, hardships, grief, trauma, loss or just simply feel life can be unfair.
You’re not broken, stay faithful no matter where you fall on the Moh’s scale. 🩷

Chemo round 2… done!!
I was supposed to go in sooner, but I got sick the day before treatment, which pushed everything back a week and felt like a setback at first. But this gave me an extra week to rest, reset and be fully present for the boys Easter weekend.

Round 2 brought the same biggest challenges
bone pain and heavy exhaustion. This time the bone pain radiated through my back and shoulders, making even my knock out day hard to sleep through.

One thing I’ve been thinking a lot about is the disconnect between internal strength and physical strength right now. Mentally and emotionally I feel strong (most of the time) but physically my body feels weak. The contrasting combination has been a struggle. So many days I want to do things but physically my body tells me, noooo way you need to slow down! So I guess that’s still something I gotta work on. Lol! Im already looking forward to rebuilding my physical strength.

The past few weeks came with some wins and cheerful days. I spent my first feel good day doing something I love…cooking! And even some baking too. I’ve also been cut down to 16 total rounds of chemo! Which means I am halfway through AC (the red devil) then I move into the second phase of weekly Taxol.
Celebrating every tiny milestone over here! Every good day and every completed round. 🩷

Part One is here:

This is Calling You to Stay - a part of The Continuation Project - where real people leave anonymous voicemails filled with hope, stories, and reminders that you are not alone. These messages are shared here for anyone who needs a reminder to keep going.

This video features messages collected at in Boise. Voices from our own community choosing to show up for each other and for strangers on the internet, like you.

Today, this video is shared in loving memory of Matthew Clark. And in his honor, his family wanted to share resources for anyone who may be struggling.

If you are hurting, struggling, or just need someone to listen:

β€’ Call or text 988 - Su***de & Crisis Lifeline
