Such a happy family!!

When you look at these pictures you can only see the love and gratitude for such a beautiful family! What you don’t see is the fight for this family by these two amazing parents! I couldn’t be happier for them and their finalization of their adoptions!!!

Adoption will always be near and dear to me, when I was 2 I was placed in foster care (I personally didn’t have a bad experience in foster care I actually stayed in touch with my foster parents for many many years until they passed away). My sister and I were adopted together when I was 6. I always wanted to adopt, but it just never worked out for my family, but I will always be a huge advocate of adoption!
My mom use to always tell me- you didn’t grow under my heart but instead in my heart. I got to choose you specifically to be my daughter.

In Kindergarten I met this girl who at the time I had no idea would change my life for the better! It was the first time I was moved from someone for talking too much, we accidentally stole teddy bear counters (iykyk), ate chips and dipped them in vinegar, watched Pokémon early Saturday mornings, listened to music way too loud in her room, planned and wore the same shirts to be twins, passed thousands of notes in the hallway (this was before cellphones), and talked endless hours on the phone.
I had the opportunity to take her daughter’s senior pictures and it was the most amazing full circle.
This is just one of the many I took, and she is a spitting image of her beautiful mom. Look girl… we did it! We over came so much and all while raising amazing children. (I also forgive you for crying in front of me 🤣)

I haven’t posted much recently, honestly because I’m at the stage of life where I’m tired. I know all moms can relate in every way possible with that. My business had to take the back burner to all my mother obligations recently.

With that said, I’ve decided to make some changes to my business. I honestly thought that this year would be my last year in business at all, but then decided, I have such a passion for weddings, and couples that instead of giving all that up, I will make it the main focus of my career.
So with that said, as of now, my main focus will be weddings and couples. I will be taking on a limited amount of senior sessions, and I will continue to take on established clients for their needs. So don’t fret, if you’ve been coming to me for years… you’re marked safe! As always if you have any inquires about sessions, please don’t hesitate to reach out, if it’s not something I’m willing to take on, I will steer you to the friends I’ve made in this business to take you on! I appreciate each and every one of you, for all you’ve done to help me get to the point of being able to follow what I’m truly passionate about!!
