Caddo Mills Prom Goers! This one is for you.

Just a reminder that the castle (Adriana Estates) is not open for prom next week. They have a private event scheduled.

With that being said, it’s also Rockwalls prom.

That means photo locations are going to be crazy!
So here are some tips and I will add some location ideas at the end.

1. Plan photos early!
2. Scope out parking before hand!
3. If you are going far… consider the traffic to and from the location.
4. Be prepared to have others in the background of your image.
5. Be courteous, everyone wants beautiful photos for prom. So move quickly if the location is heavily populated.

Location ideas. Now these are all weather dependent.

Caddo Mills- Reminder it is illegal to photograph on rail road tracks.

The mill. You all know it, you’ve all probably been there for photos at some point, it’s still a business so be mindful of this.
Don’t block traffic, and don’t prevent trucks from entering or exiting.

The mural. The sun will be behind the mural so lighting will be good, won’t be the most beautiful aesthetic but it’s an option. Just be mindful that Mona Lisa’s is a business and their patrons park there.

Royse City-
City Lake Park, beware the geese.
Downtown- don’t park on the square. Don’t block businesses and don’t stop traffic.

Rockwall- Harry Myers- May the odds be ever in your favor.
The Harbor- same.

Greenville- downtown, murals, The Texan, an option that can handle lots of people.

Now if it’s rains…. Not sure :)

Happy Wednesday!

It’s that time of the year where I run spring minis and those will be going live tomorrow.
However, I am offering something extra special!
$100 minis. Insanely inexpensive but for a reason.
I am doing these as a fundraiser for my daughter.
She is a very active high school Junior who is very involved in theatre.
I am doing these sessions as a fundraiser to help fund her Theatre camp this Summer, but also to send her to State UIL in Austin as she advanced with her team in theatrical design, and also the International Thespians Convention this summer where she qualified with her individual acting piece.

So I’m offering these $100 mini sessions for one weekend only to help cover those costs for her.
( I have already been asked if donations can be accepted instead and yes of course. Any contribution is beyond appreciated! Venmo will be in the comments.)

Most of you have been with me since Audrey was a baby. And this summer starts Senior Year for us.

I’ve got Mommy & Me mini sessions coming your way, sweet simple golden morning sessions.

I’m also going to be running 2 dates at Harry Myers for $100 mini sessions. These can be used for anything. All proceeds will go to sending my Audrey to theatre camp this summer.

It’s and Facebook reminded me I haven’t posted on here in weeks.
I focus so much on Instagram that I honestly forget to post here.

I’m obsessed with this session. I got to try my new light out which is hard to hold and aim in one hand and then use my camera one handed in the other.
But that heart shape was just too perfect!

My Class of 2027 Senior Rep team is complete!
Parents keep an eye out for an email tomorrow!
As soon as all payments are made we will be able to plan our first group session in May!

Class of 2027 and parents! Whoo! I only have 2 spots left on my rep team for next year!
Crazy to think about!

With it booking out so fast that means I can get studios booked and the group session planned even sooner!
