i feel so lucky when i get to document families, especially this one. the time when you’re all together in one place at the same time; is precious and i love getting a front row seat to it.

even the time you’re all here on earth, in each others lives at the same time is worth documenting.

kids keep growing, life moves faster and faster. photos help you hold onto the little memories you’re making. so plan the time, carve out the tiniest hour be it monthly, yearly or every few years. the time you get to freeze any phase of life in a photo becomes a memory and is always worth it ☁️

now you know :’) my best advice is to take the advice of your photographer on locations that work best at different times of the year! a gorgeous green field in July won’t look gorgeous and green in September — keep in mind the look of the photos you want and the time of year you’re getting married in! a May wedding means potential snowy/minimal color spring engagements, a winter wedding means end of summer/early fall engagements, a mid July wedding still means very early spring engagements!!

it’s so nice to know what your dream location for your bridals will look like in different months!! in ut, each year can vary but things start to look green again around April, lots of blossoms and green by May, full blown green and growth in June, gorgeous green grasses everywhereeeee in July- sometimes things have a hint of feeling dry from the summer heat, August things are yellowing, September the colors of fall start to hit and peak end of sept, early October, leaves are all gone by November and the brown tones are in, all things dead and gone except those perfect green pine trees by December!!

A separate day for a bridal session to captute so many extra details and moments in heirloom quality images to show your grandkids one day is something i can’t be convinced isn’t a good idea!!
