Lauren + Judson’s wedding was perfect. Even when the rain pushed back the ceremony an hour, it was perfect. Even when last minute changes to the schedule had to be made, it was perfect. Even when the rain started up AGAIN during their send-off, it was perfect. But when the sun peeked through the clouds, shining behind the cross, literally highlighting what the whole day was about, my camera couldn’t capture just how perfect it was. It was a moment I will remember forever. Every guest gasped. I gasped. The officiant took a moment to reflect. It was perfect.

It’s been a while since I’ve shown my face around here!

I’m Hannah Beth. I am a single mom of two beautiful boys, a full-time student, and a full-time photographer. But most importantly, I’m a Christian. I love the Lord with everything that I have and I will never be ashamed of that. I will always feel honored to be trusted with capturing some of the biggest moments of your life, from getting engaged to your wedding, from pregnancy announcements to maternity sessions and newborn photos. I love getting to tag along on your life journey and document it all, freeze all of those little moments in time for you to cherish forever. I love it, I love you, and Jesus loves you. 🤍

For so long, when I was asked what I do for a living, I would say “I’m a photographer but my ‘real’ job is *insert job I hated here*”.
I just assumed people wouldn’t take it seriously or consider it a “real” job, but I realized that I was the one not taking myself seriously. I was constantly comparing myself to other photographers, thinking I couldn’t call myself a professional until I reached thousands of followers, had weddings or sessions booked every weekend, posted on social media everyday… It’s not that these goals were unattainable, but I put myself in a box.

I am good at what I do. I take pride in not just the finished galleries I deliver, but also the way I interact with clients who often become friends. I take pride in being able to sew a button back onto the groom’s suit jacket at the last minute. I take pride in being able to save the flower girl’s dress when she had a nosebleed right before the ceremony. I take pride in arranging a bridal bouquet at the last minute because the florist delivered the wrong order.

I love what I do and every time I book a session or wedding, I feel honored to be trusted with capturing your best memories.

I went up to NWA this weekend for one of best friend’s baby shower and asked her on the way if she wanted to take some maternity photos. I’m so glad we did because first of all, Abby is ✨glowing✨. Second, I can’t to watch Abby and Ben become the parents to Baby Girl Pledger. There’s just something about these stages of life, being able to capture them for friends hits a little differently. I love you, Abby and Ben and I cautious to see how you’re going to kill it at this parenting thing. 🤍

I couldn’t be happier to be yours, Jordan Lane. Your patience, kindness, and support are unmatched. My biggest cheerleader. My best friend. To be loved by you is so special. I could write a book about all the ways you make me feel seen and cherished. For now, I’ll just say thank you for putting up with my quirks and being willing to be uncomfortable right alongside me in front of a camera. 🤍

I’m used to being behind the camera but it was fun having the roles reversed and can’t thank for making my Pinterest board a reality haha.
