The Juetts 🖤 5.23.26
Let me start out by saying that Rachael is a planner; she takes good notes and makes lists and likes to be organized. This is not a bad thing..unfortunately, the weather does not care about your plans and lists. When I met her last year, she was a kind, shy and reserved person. This is the version that I also met on the morning of her big day, when I also finally got to meet her fiancé, Mitch. While both of them are incredibly kind, Mitch isn't as shy as Rachael and even seems a bit more silly. They match one another well! Originally, the intimate ceremony was supposed to take place outside but the weather had other plans- which was not agreed upon with Rachael. I had expected her to be a bit nervous or anxious even with the last minute change. But instead, I saw the same calm and reserved girl that I had met before. Mitch had a bit more energy and was just ready to be married. When he saw his soon-to-be wife walk down the aisle on her father's arm, his face was completely overcome with raw love and adoration. Even my eyes became a bit misty seeing this sudden change in him. But that isn't where the emotions stopped.
Rachael and Mitch wrote their own vows to read to one another and while both were sweet, it wasn't their words that touched me. While Mitch was reading his vows, he mentioned that I that moment he wished he could hug Rachael. As if no one else were there to watch a semi-rehearsed wedding ceremony, she stepped toward him and actually wrapped him in a hug in the middle of his vows. It was such a sweet and pure moment that solidified their fate for everyone watching. After the ceremony was over, I watched the once shy and reserved girl behave more freely. She was sillier, audibly laughing louder with a bigger smile, dancing around and never leaving Mitch's side unless absolutely necessary. Mitch was incredibly adoring and compassionate toward her. Obviously, I this industry I have seen a whole range of couples and personalities- some that complimented the other well and some that are like oil and water. This is a couple that I doubt have a single doubt about regardless of how long I've known them. You can just see the gaps they fill in for one another. I watched Rachaels very doting dad who is wrapped around her finger, bravely place the hand that he once held when she was first born, into the hand of the man that would now be responsible for her life and her heart going forward. Nothing shows the emotional cracks in a strong man like watching his little girl become a wife. This is a couple that I truly hope I get the honor of working with in the future for more memories and I'm so thankful I got to be apart of this one. Congratulations Rachael + Mitch!💍
