The Virags 🖤 6.20.26
I hadn't met Rebecca and Joshua until wedding day. This does happy on occasion but usually it's rare for me. Rebecca and I shared a 25 minute phone call about their needs as a couple and what I could provide them with and it resulted in a very confident booking on Rebeccas end and a fun feeling of "clicking" with my new client. It felt like most of our conversation was more enjoyable and fun than most of my consultation calls usually are which made me pretty excited.
I showed up on wedding day with my second shooter, ready to get started and was told that Rebecca hadn't arrived yet. She texted to let me know that there was a delay during their getting ready process and it set them back almost an hour. At the venue, we got to work on taking shots of all the details like the dress, cake, decor, etc. while we waited for the stars of the show to arrive. Once there, it felt like the clock was ticking to get everyone ready and back on schedule. While in conversation it seemed like it was now a rush, Rebeccas demeanor didn't show that. She was calm and collected, making jokes and taking however much time was needed for everything. Somehow we were till on schedule and the ceremony started on time. The Virags were creating a blended family. Rebecca has her son, Lucas, and Joshua has his daughter, Emma, both of whom were members on the bridal party. How exciting to be apart of one of the biggest days of your parents' lives?
Family traveled pretty far just to witness these two tie the knot. There was a threat of rain and storm all day for this outdoor ceremony, but outside of a few surprise gusts of wind, the day was beautiful. The wedding was held at the aptly named Sunset Room, where we were truly gifted with one of the most bueatiful sunsets to end an equally beautiful day. A beautiful day for two beautifully kind and fun people, and the new blended family they created full of love. I truly hope I get invited back into their life in the future. Congratulations Mr. + Mrs. Virag💍
