Did anyone stay up to watch the lunar eclipse last night? Phill made a valiant attempt and even got a few cool pictures of the moon behind the clouds. It's been such a crazy week with school and sports that we fell asleep and missed the peak, though. We must be getting old 🤣

Luca's due date would have been 7/6 and we always do something to honor him on that day. He would be turning 7 this year. I can see him sitting under this tree near our house, so happy and smiling.

I thought about taking pictures of Luca's Willow Tree figurine there yesterday but it didn't work out with the rain. (A project for another day!) So this morning I got out a fluffy white blanket and took some inside. They turned out so sweet.

“My Lord and my God!”

It's one of my favorite Scripture verses and prayers. I teach my children to say it at the consecration at Mass. Maybe we don't "see" Him there, but He is fully present. And we are invited to come near; to touch His sacred wounds.

It's always been part of my job to prioritize the safety of my clients' children. With the increased use of AI, my preference moving forward is to use faceless images of children on social media (if I have parents' permission to share, of course!)

What are your thoughts on faceless images? Would you want to see them in your gallery?

Confirmation is like the outpouring of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost--the recipients are strengthened, sealed and commissioned to be witnesses of Christ. Bishop Kulick of Greensburg urged the Confirmation candidates to "be friends of Christ" like the saints.
