Sitting here editing Aleah & Jons wedding and I came across this image that my second Rick snapped of me during family photos.
There's always a moment when kiddos are just 100% fed up for the day. It’s after ceremony, its piping hot outside, their parents are doing their best to keep them cool (physically and emotionally lol) and then its their turn to jump in the photo. The absolute LAST thing they want to do is stand there and smile.
So for a moment they become my little helpers. It immediately snaps them out of the meltdown they're about to have and after a few shots they're ready to be apart of the group again!
If there's one thing about me when it comes to wedding days, I'm going to do my best to maintain the emotional temperature of the day, because everyone deserves to feel like their best selves and feel as stress free as possible!
I'm so grateful for snaps like these because it reminds me of one of my biggest whys when capturing weddings. I do my best to approach your wedding with an observational, intuitive mindset and immerse myself into the day so everyone is at ease, allowing for the most genuine moments to unfold.
