I used to think emotion came from dramatic editing.
Darker, moodier, more intense felt like the way to make an image mean something.
Over time I realized I had it backwards.
Emotion does not come from changing every color in a photo. It comes from the moment itself, how it felt, who was in it, and the connection you can feel when you look back. Editing should support that, not take over it.
That is why I care so much about true to tone work and accurate skin tones. When your photos look like you, they can feel like you too. That is what makes them timeless.
If you want photos that look like you and feel like your day, not a passing trend, let’s start the conversation.
