Faith cried walking down the aisle. Triston couldn't stop smiling through the vows. They lit a unity candle and laughed at something only they understood. By the end of the night, they were kissing under tall trees with the whole sky behind them and then partying on the dance floor.

This is what a wedding day actually feels like when you stop trying to control it and just let it be what it is.

Faith and Triston, it was an honor to be there for all of it.

Another one from the archive that finally found a home this year.

This was my Halloween project "Ascension of the Crimson Queen" with Alayna. Crown, blood, darkness, and a lot of red. The kind of session I shoot because the idea won't leave me alone until I do.

Delaney has arrived.

I photographed Heather and Vincent's engagement, their wedding, and their maternity session. This is the next chapter. There's something about being invited into these moments across the years that never gets old.

These are lifestyle newborn portraits, which is how I prefer to do this work. We stayed in their home — Delaney's room, the chair where mom rocks her to sleep, their own bedroom. When she needed a diaper change or to be fed, everything was right there. I drove to them. Less stress, less preparation, more of the real thing. Delaney stretched and made faces and did exactly what a brand new baby does, and we just let her.

Also — their engagement and wedding photos are framed and hanging above their bed. I noticed them during the session and it made me really happy. Photos deserve to be lived with, not just scrolled past.

Welcome to the world, Delaney.

Story and I have worked together long enough that the sessions just kind of run themselves.

This one was shot in studio. No special location. No deadline to chase. Just light, an empty space, a few props, and someone comfortable in front of a camera happy to come along on the creative journey with me.

Morgan and Dominick have the kind of chemistry that makes the camera irrelevant — they were too busy cracking each other up to worry about it. You can't fake laughs like these. It's just two people who love being around each other. And that's the story we want to tell.

Some locations just feel like a couple, and Hanging Rock was absolutely theirs.

Morgan and Dominick brought all the good stuff — easy laughter, genuine tenderness, and a willingness to climb out onto the rocks for a view that stretched to forever. That's the kind of energy that makes a photographer's job feel less like work and more like a front-row seat to something worth remembering.

Morgan and Dominick, your day is going to be something extraordinary. We cannot wait.
