What an honor to do all of the photography and visual design for the new full length release, The Other, by thèriot.. The album drops on all streaming platforms (sans Sptfy) on 09.18.2026 and the vinyl release will follow.

Working with Kyle Saulnier is such a treat and not only did I get an advance copy of the final master, which sounds so so good, but i also got to be a fly on the wall while documenting the actual recording sessions at Tank Recording Studio.

8 years since I’ve shot JD and the goats in this room and I noticed we have some new hairstyles going on! I myself got my 4th trim since the pandemic just yesterday and I love seeing this longer haired journey a lot of us have been on ever since.

And now his throne sits empty. And what a throne it was.

RIP to Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Mr. Frank Beard. He was the co-founder of (in 1969!) and ironically the only beardless member of the legendary ZZ Top, drumming with them for over 50 years. Incredible.

I was given 3 minutes of shooting time at the start of their set at the The Flynn back in October of 2022 and I would’ve loved more to get the shots I wanted but it was enough to get the shots I needed. I quickly made it to my seat and thoroughly enjoyed the rest of the show.

Only Billy Gibbons remains of the original trio and though they did cancel a few shows upon the news of Beard’s passing, it looks like their upcoming show at the Champlain Valley Exposition on September 4 is still happening and tickets are still available.

Congrats to Amanda Janoo on winning the Democratic Primary for Governor of Vermont in today’s statewide election.

Her official campaign watch party was hosted by SEABA and we dipped out and shot a quick set right outside the stage door while the filled room waited for the final results to be called.

The party was pretty great (more to come on that!). SEABA hosted the campaign launch party a few months ago, which was also great, and the General Election is in a few more… Perhaps another party in November!
