This week ON Seven Days:
We Love Dives - Seven Days set out to answer the eternal question: What makes a dive bar ... a dive bar?
PERSONAL NOTE: This is my 47th cover! That includes 43 main paper covers and 4 covers of the home design publication Nest.
This was a fun one. I met up with Diane and John of the 7D design team at The Olde Northender Pub, aka The Olde Northender, at noon last Friday and it didn’t take long for us to nail the concept that Diane Sullivan had in mind and it went right to the cover unaltered! I’ve been at this for quite some time but there’s still a bit of excitement when i get to shoot the cover, especially when it’s just a single photo that immediately shows the viewer what the cover story is about. Love working with this team of absolute pros.
