Business Update | Moving into 2026
As 2026 approaches, I want to share something openly and with care.
Many of you know that photography is one of my greatest passions but I am also a full-time teacher, a graduate student working on my master’s degree, a mother, and a human being navigating life just like everyone else. After a lot of reflection, I’ve realized that continuing to take on a high volume of events is no longer aligned with the balance I want or with the level of care I want to give each client.
There have been moments this year where I felt guilt for resting, for being present with my family, or even for taking a vacation because of work I still needed to deliver. That was my sign that something needed to change.
Starting in 2026, I will be intentionally stepping back from photography.
This means:
• I will take only one event per month the only exception will be summer months.
• I will continue offering smaller photo sessions (graduations, studio sessions, select mini sessions)
• I will no longer book large volumes of back-to-back events
This decision allows me to show up with more intention, creativity, and care not just for my clients, but for my family and myself.
To my past and current clients:
Please know that I am fully committed to delivering your final products. I am working diligently behind the scenes to complete and deliver all outstanding albums and videos, and I truly appreciate your patience and trust as I do so.
Thank you for supporting my work, my growth, and this next chapter. I am deeply grateful for every family, story, and milestone you have allowed me to document 🤍
If you have any questions, concerns, or would like an update at any point, please feel free to message me. I will never leave a message unanswered.
