Peak fall is here 🍂 and just in the nick of time for Meredith and Matt's stunner of a wedding last weekend. I don't think I've seen colors this vibrant in a long time, so we took full advantage of getting as many photos as possible. From their first look on the balcony of their adjoining rooms, portraits with their family at the summit, to their absolutely beautiful view of the mountain from the ceremony, there simply were no bad angles anywhere you looked.

The cherry on top for me was taking their "getaway cart" (where my fellow swifties at?) for golden hour portraits all around the golf course, which was extra special since these two met through their love of golf. These two danced the night away, but not without an outfit change and a choreographed dance to Opalite. You couldn't have asked for two more fun people that deserved every second of this amazing day. Congrats again and again you two ❤️

Meeting up with Lilia and Conner for their engagement session at the garden they had their very first date was the session of my dreams. My ADHD brain was in peak form discovering all the beautiful nooks and crannies we could tuck ourselves in to capture the gorgeous light. We ended the night by grabbing a slice at their favorite pizza joint down the street. I can't wait for all the fun we'll have at their wedding next year ❤️

When we envisioned our session we knew that playing pool had to be included - it was one of the first activities we bonded over and Adam is crazy good at it. Last Light Studio understood the assignment and absolutely killed it with these shots ✨

I don't capture families very often, but when I do you best believe we spend maybe 5 minutes max smiling for the camera. The rest of that time we embrace what it feels like to be a kid. Playful, silly, a little chaotic. And boy do those images speak for themselves.

I'm opening up two limited dates this fall for my Magic Sessions, which brings this kind of energy into sharp focus. They're 20 minute portrait sessions booked back to back in a fun location, and are always pet friendly. Our Engagement Photos - Part 1!

I'm so beyond grateful for Last Light Studio making the trip to St Albans and being down for a whirlwind tour of our favorite places for our engagement photos! First up was our backyard, where George showed off his Zinnia chomping skills, Adam picked his favorite vegetable, and we generally had a great time being our silly selves in the garden together ❤️

Sara and Olivia's elopement was the stuff of woodland dreams. They intentionally chose a day for just the two of them (with a shrine for their cats) with thoughtful details to make it an experience they were fully immersed in. It truly felt like walking through the wardrobe to Narnia.

On a beautiful July night on Caspian Lake, David surprised Tracy with a vow renewal on the beach to celebrate 35 years together. They were surrounded by their best friends who met over the nearly 30 years they've been coming to Highland Lodge. They celebrated with an al fresco dinner as the sun set, followed by the most gorgeous pink moonrise over the lake. The loons participated in the speeches given and the night could not have been more magical ✨

I just finished Shannon & Reilly's full wedding gallery this week and boy am I already nostalgic for it. These two had the most fun, sweet, and intentional day together with their closest friends and family. They hired the local trolley to ferry them from getting ready at Hotel Vermont to their sun drenched ceremony on the rocks at Oakledge, and finally celebrating at May Day with their amazing food. They danced the night away to music by Bob Wagner and all the while these two were never far apart from each other. I love seeing a couple as obsessed with each other as these two are.

This wedding was a dream in the best way - it was a wedding where everyone there, including me, gets to be fully present. It makes looking at the photos bring you right back to how amazing the day felt. Thanks for having me along for the ride ❤️
